I'm realizing that
I begged and begged
To be loved
To be held
And then i woke up and realize
I was selling myself
To people who wanted me to overgive
That's what you get when you have a soul that heals
But now i know
Now i know
I won't be like this no more
Because my energy is rare
And i deserve someone who can reciprocate
Who can meet me in the sky
Who reach for me when i cry
Who is there for me in the darkest of nights
I deserve someone
Who isn't afraid of my power
Neither wants to control it
Or took it from me
I deserve someone
Who loves me as i am
Doing my things
Being myself
I deserve a companion
Not a saviour, because i never needed one
I deserve someone
Who loves me right
Who sees me like no other
Who understands my silence
And wants to protect my heart
Who wants to learn about me
Who gets fluent in me
Who loves me like it's the easiest thing to do
Who can't get enough of me
Who can't go an hour without hearing from me
Who wants to know my story
Not to judge me
But to hold me
To make sure
I never feel the same way ever again
Someone who wants to keep me safe
Someone who can't keep his hands off me
Someone who craves my soul
And yearns for my body
Someone who is so utterly, completely, unconditionally in love with me
That i will forget
About anyone who ever did me dirty.
