"Hey (Y/n)!" Came an annoyed voice.

"What is it?"

"Stop lazying around and help us out here!"

You flashed a grin at her.

"Says the lazy cat girl."

"Excuse me!?" Cathy let out a hiss and raised her arms, ready to strike. You raised your hands up in mock defense and laughed.

"Relax Cathy I was only messing with you! No need for a cat fight!"

She begrudgingly brought her hands down. "Hmph, well the least you could do is help us find the rest of the numbers you know."

"Yeah yeah I got it." You let out a long yawn as Cathy walked back to where the rest of your friends were.

It had been a few days since your return to the human world and your last encounter with Vector. And although you wanted to help the Barian, you just had to admit that things were going really great for you and your friends. Despite the difficult journey you all went through to find the remaining cards, the payoff was well worth it and seemed to bring you all closer together.

During this time, you managed to whip up an excuse to your parents so you could help Yuma and the others on their journey. This was after you recieved a heavy lecture about your past 'dissapearance' of course. Thankfully they went with your story this time as they thought it was just another casual hangout between friends. They were more strict about your curfew though so there was that.

You let out a happy hum while relaxing in your seat. You were all currently going on another adventure to hunt some numbers but, you were the only one not really doing anything. That was probably why Cathy was scolding you earlier.

Although it was true that you wanted to join the rest in their travels, you didn't have any intention of actually going out and putting yourself in any kind of danger again. The first time was pretty terrifying after all, add that with Vector's absence for the past few days and you were left feeling a little paranoid. So instead you would just stay in the ship and 'guard it.' Your friends gave you confused looks but never forced you to come with them after hearing what happened between you and Vector. Plus, it was impossible to win an argument against you anyway.

"It's not like I just do nothing around here." You mumbled to yourself.

"Then what do you do around here (y/n)?" Piqued a familiar voice.

You looked to your left. "Oh, hey Rio. Shouldn't you be with your brother?"

"Shouldn't you be grouped with the rest of us?" She retorted. You groaned and waved a dismissive hand at her.

"Look, if you're going to scold me like Cathy did then I don't want to hear it." It was her turn to flash you a grin.

"Let me guess, he's still on your mind, isn't he?"

You spared another short glance at her. "What are you talking about? I'm just enjoying some quality time here by myself."

"Oh please," She put her hand on her hip and approached you. By the time she was right in front of you, she whispered something with a knowing look.

"It's Vector, am I right?"

She was met with silence.

"It's alright (y/n), I would be a bit freaked out too."
