Basically how you two meet and then a time skip to fluff once you're both a bit older.
I had first met Ezra the day we had both joined the Ghost Crew. I had been sneaking around Lothal, trying to figure out the imperial scouting schedule for that rotation, eager to avoid the detection of my force sensitivity. Peering over the edge of a rooftop, I spotted a dark haired boy about my age doing the same on a building across the street. He didn't seem to have noticed me, he was looking at something going on in the street below us. I followed his gaze to a tall man, one shoulder laden with armour and in a primarily green outfit. He seemed to be conspiring with a mandalorian girl with odly colourful uniform and was that... was that a Lasat?
I could see why the boy was intrigued. The two of us watched the events unfold below us, although I kept on stealing glances at him. He was kind of... cute. A little older than me, not more than a year though, dark hair and light eyes, and a mischievous smirk. I saw what he was about to do before he did it. Intuition or the force, I didn't have time to think about which before instinct took over me and I followed. I saw him run off the roof and back through the building, moments later popping out of a doorway and making to mount a speeder. As he did so, I made my move, jumping off the roof and landing softly on the crate closest to the bike as he sped off.
"Ah!" he shouted in shock when his head whipped around to see me having landed on his stolen speeder, "You're not one of them, are you?" his voice was full of alarm as he backed over about three imperials and sped off.
"Nope, I mean I don't know if them is the imperials or those guys back there but I'm on my own," I replied, moving a hand to my face to try and keep some of the long strands of hair away as I looked back. The green guy and the Lasat were after us.
"What are you doing then?"
"Stealing this stuff with you," I grinned.
"I don't have a choice, do I?"
"Nope."
"I'm Ezra by the way."
"Y/N."
As we sped through the streets, weaving through alleyways and dodging people, the Mandalorian girl managed to mount the back crate.
"Pretty gutsy move, kids," she teased, her voice carrying that unmistakable Mando accent. "If the big guy catches you, he'll end you." With that, she drew a blaster, but instinct kicked in, and I Force-pushed her off the crate. She landed in a food stand, and I barely caught her parting words as we rounded another corner, "Good luck!"
Not long after, we were heading out when the green guy and the Lasat appeared on our tails. One of them fired at the back of our crates, sending us skidding onto the wrong side of the road.
"That's never good!" Ezra exclaimed as he maneuvered through oncoming traffic.
Before long, a few Imperials were taken out, and the Lasat dropped back. The green guy sped up, and with the two of us and two crates, our bike wasn't fast enough. We skidded to a halt right in front of him.
"Who are you?" Ezra shouted, punching the front of the speeder.
"I'm the guy who was stealing those crates," the green guy replied coolly.
"Hey, look," I began, glancing at Ezra for support. "We stole this... stuff."
"What—whatever it is," Ezra added, mirroring my alarm.
"Fair and square," I finished, hoping it would convince him.
"And you made it pretty far. But I've got plans for that crate, so today is not your day."
