"My name's Mingyu by the way." Mingyu informed the man in front of him who simply rolled his eyes before walking away.
"Don't worry! I'll make you mine!" Mingyu shouted before remembering he was in public. He quickly covered his face and rushed out...
It had been a day since Mingyu fainted and returned to the dorm. He was on the proper medication he'd needed before and he was fine but what he wasn't fine with was the call he'd received today.
His parents were coming to see him to check on his condition. Any other person would have been ecstatic at this opportunity but Mingyu didn't have a good relationship with his parents. After all, they weren't even the ones that raised him.
But he was willing to give them another chance, because he wanted to have good parents, he wanted his parents to love him too. Regardless of him being a backup plan, all Mingyu ever wanted was to be loved.
Maybe this would work. He already had who he wanted to take to the dinner his parents had also planned.
Mingyu heard someone knock on the door and he stood up headed for the door. Once he opened it, a smiling Wonwoo stood in front of him with a white paper bag.
"I brought treats!" Wonwoo announced and Mingyu grinned at the beauty's cuteness before hugging him.
"Thank you." He whispered before letting go. "I thought you had class today?" Wonwoo walked in while Mingyu questioned.
"They moved it to 2pm, technical difficulties or something." Wonwoo shrugged as Mingyu closed the door.
"By the way I have a question." Mingyu informed Wonwoo who was removing his shoes. "What?" Wonwoo looked at Mingyu.
"Do you want to meet my parents?" Mingyu asked and the bag immediately fell from Wonwoo's hands, some of the baked goods falling out.
Wonwoo's mouth hung open in surprise and Mingyu felt the need to clarify. "Oh, it's just, they want to have a dinner on Saturday and I don't want to go alone." Mingyu explained and Wonwoo sighed, relieved.
"Oh, okay, I'll go with you." He said nonchalantly but Mingyu could still see the panic behind his pupils and he couldn't help but giggle. "Are you nervous? It's just Monday babe." Mingyu walked towards Wonwoo who bent down to pick up the treats.
"Me? Nervous? No..." Wonwoo lied, horribly and Mingyu chuckled. "It doesn't matter what they think of you, I love you so much." Mingyu helped Wonwoo up, their hands staying connected.
"I love you too but it does matter! I have to make a good impression, oh my gosh, I'm stressed." Wonwoo held the back of his neck and Mingyu giggled. "Don't be, they don't like me either." Mingyu patted Wonwoo's shoulder with his other hand.
Wonwoo looked at him before looking away. "Anyone that doesn't like you is insane. But I still have to make a good impression." He let go of Mingyu's hand and walked to the couch.
Mingyu smiled. He just loved Wonwoo so so so much. But if he was being honest, he was also a bit nervous.

Wonwoo's heart was pounding and he was sure Mingyu had noticed it already. Mingyu had just asked him to meet his parents.
Obviously it wasn't for any serious reason but he was still extremely nervous. For some reason, he really wanted to make a good impression on Mingyu's parents even though according to Mingyu, he didn't need to.
He'd never cared about people's first impression of him but this was different.
Wonwoo felt a pair of hands go around him and he turned to see Mingyu behind him. "Calm down, love." Mingyu patted Wonwoo's chest and his face had turned red in less than a second.
Mingyu calling him love had instantly eased all the tension in his body. But it had created a different type of tension.
"They're going to love you." Mingyu comforted Wonwoo before moving around and sitting beside him. "Okay?" Mingyu looked into Wonwoo's eyes and Wonwoo nodded in response.
"I know they will." Mingyu added before bringing Wonwoo's face close to his and joining their lips in a warm kiss that got rid of all of Wonwoo's worries and nervousness.
Wonwoo closed his eyes and felt Mingyu's lips which were soft and sweet and matched perfectly against his and in that moment he couldn't help but think.
They were perfect for each other.
So who cared if Mingyu's parents ended up disliking him, he was okay with that because Mingyu loved him and truly, that was all that mattered.
