"How late are you?"

"Okay, Ana can I tell Aunt Viv? She may be able to help" 

Ana nodded, I went upstairs to get Viv, "I need you downstairs babe, Ana thinks she is pregnant" 

"What? Okay, has she taken a test?" 

"I don't think so, she has told me she is two weeks late for her period"

"Okay I have a pregnancy test in my nurse's bag, I came home with one in my pocket after a shift on A&E, we can get her to do it, then take it from there" We head back downstairs, and Viv gives Ana the test.  Ana goes into the downstairs bathroom; she comes out a couple of minutes later and hands the test to me. 

We wait five minutes "Do you want me to look at the test?" 

Ana nods, I turn it over and a huge wave of relief passes over me "It's negative" 

"But my period is late, I'm never late" 

"There could be another reason you are late, sometimes your body changes your hormones are all over the place, stress can affect your periods too, and you have been stressing over your exams," said Viv

"Give it another week and if you still haven't started your period then go to the Doctors, but you need to speak to your mum and dad, they need to know you have a boyfriend, you are sexually active, you are still together, aren't you?"  I ask 

"Yes, we are still together he didn't pressure me either, it was consensual I know I'm 15, we were silly not to use a condom, I had spoken to him today and told him I thought I was pregnant, he said he would stand by me no matter what" Replied Ana

"Okay, tomorrow you and me will speak with your mum and dad, okay?"

"I'm your god mother I will always be there for you, now you are in charge downstairs okay, if Courtney says otherwise tell her I will speak with her in the morning"
