Chapter Thirty Two

Chapter 32

Third Person POV

Siobhan and Viv talking

Siobhan and Viv were moved to a side room as Viv was being kept in for a few hours for observations to make sure she didn't have a concussion. Siobhan was laying on the bed with Viv, they were cuddling together. Usually, Siobhan cuddled into Viv's chest as this had always Siobhan's safe space listening to Viv's heart beating, whilst Viv played with Siobhan's hair. This time Viv was the one cuddling into Siobhan, resting her head on her chest, Siobhan played with Viv's hair. Viv relaxed into Siobhan's body and breathed out a contented sigh. "Hey you, okay?" asked Siobhan

"Yeah babe, I'm good I'm extremely comfortable right now, laying in the arms of a beautiful woman" replied Viv

"Really does your wife know?" chuckled Siobhan

Viv looked up into Siobhan's eyes "Hey you are beautiful; I have always said I'm punching well above with you; Bon you are the love of my life"

"Viv you are the love of my life too, you saved me from everything"

They lay there for a bit longer Viv's observation where checked and everything was looking good, no sign of a concussion "the Dr's just want to keep you for another hour, then you should be able to go home" Amanda, Viv's friend informed them, by now it was 3am.

"I will ring  Reece, let him know we should be able to go home in an hour or so" Okay Bon.

Siobhan rang Reece "hi Reece, sorry to disturb you, looks like we will be able to go home in an hour, are you still okay to come and collect us"

Reece replied "hi, Bon, yes that's fine, I will get to the hospital for 4am are you both still in A&E?"

"my god have you slept?"

"not been able to sleep, worrying about my best friend, also the police were here talking to all the kids, they will speak with Viv tomorrow once you are home"

"Hope Luis and Courtney are okay"

"They are fine, Luis is in with Eli and Courtney.... she is sleeping with Marjorie, she couldn't settle"

"Oh my baby girl" Viv looked at Siobhan when she said that

"Okay Reece thank you for letting me know, and thank you and Marjorie"

"What's up with Court?" asked Viv

"She is sleeping with Marjorie, Reece said she couldn't settle, Luis is in with Eli"

"The sooner we get out of here the better"

Siobhan and Viv lay there for a bit longer then Siobhan said "I was planning the wedding with Marjorie earlier, things are all pretty much booked"

"Do you have your dress? " asked Viv

"I do have my dress, it's a surprise before you ask"

"Oh is it? I was hoping to see it"

"Not before the wedding day, babe" Siobhan kissed the top of Viv's head

"You know..... you will have to take Courtney dress shopping" laughed Viv

"Oh fuck..... I forgot about that" sighed Siobhan

"You will have to take Luis suit shopping"

"Oh that will be easy, I will have his suit sorted in minutes"

"Yes you probably will"

They laughed and chatted for a bit longer, then Siobhan shifted so she was level with Viv the swelling around her eyes hadn't got any worse, and the bruising had come out

"I was thinking I want to pay tribute to Elaine at the wedding. I want to walk down the aisle to Landslide, then our first dance to be Silver Springs"

Viv could feel the tears in her eyes one rolled down her face "Oh Bon I would love that"

"I also want to have an empty chair in the spot were she would be sitting"

"Sounds perfect" replied Viv

"I miss her" added Viv

"I know I miss her too, she would be so proud of our family" replied Siobhan

"She would be, Jamie settled married to Emma and now baby  Michael, I remember telling her you were pregnant with the twins, the smile on her face..... I only wish she..."

"So do I babe, she tried to hang on, she was too ill and her body just couldn't take it anymore" replied Siobhan

Siobhan and Viv didn't realise but Reece had been standing at the door and he heard the the last part of the conversation about Viv's mum Elaine.

"You know it was your mum that made me propose to Marjorie"

They both looked up at him "What?"

"Yeah she had come to collect Jamie, I was on my way in to meet Marjorie and take her out to dinner, she asked me when was I going to make an honest woman of her? I had been dithering for ages, I had the ring in my pocket somehow your mum knew. She pulled me to one side and said if I didn't ask her that night then I would of missed my chance"

"Is that why you proposed to Marjorie in the nursery with the kids helping... including Jamie?"

"Yes, you mum gave me the courage to ask her and the nursery was the right place to do it in"

"Reece will you walk me down the aisle?" asked Siobhan

"I would be honoured, then I will stand next to my best friend" He replied

Amanda walked into Viv's room "Well that was the shift from hell, so glad I have finished, anyway you can go home, Dr's are happy you have no concussion and the swelling has stopped, here are some pain killers and your on sick leave till next week I sorted that for you"

"Thanks so much, pop round tomorrow for a cuppa I will need the company"

"Sure will"

Reece, Viv and Siobhan left the hospital and headed home as they pulled into the drive they could see Marjorie standing there with Courtney, Luis and Jamie, Siobhan noticed her car in the driveway. Viv and Siobhan were sitting in the back set Siobhan helped Viv out of the car and the kids rushed over and hugged them both "Oh momma I thought you were dead" cried Courtney

"Hey baby girl. I'm going nowhere" replied Viv

"Come on lets get inside, I really need a bath" added Viv

Siobhan walked over to Marjorie "Thank you for looking after the kids, especially Courtney" "It's no problem my love, she needed her momma's last night, she came to her god mother, you get inside and look after your wife, and don't worry about work Autumn and Winter are back from holiday"

Siobhan hugged Marjorie, "Call in for a coffee later"

"Okay"

Siobhan went inside her house she could hear the kids fussing over Viv, she went upstairs to run a bath as Viv had asked for one. Once everything was ready she went downstairs to the living room, it was quiet again Courtney and Luis had fallen asleep and Jamie was quietly chatting with Viv. Siobhan smiled then whispered "Viv I have your bath ready come on lets get you cleaned up, Jamie can you keep an eye on the twins?"

"Yeah sure"

Siobhan took Viv's hand lead her upstairs got her undressed Viv's body was covered in cuts and Bruises. Siobhan kissed Viv's body she heard Viv moan in pleasure. Then she stopped instead of Viv getting in first Siobhan did, she sat down then Viv got in and sat were Siobhan usually does she leaned into Siobhan and started to cry.

"I thought I was going to die.... she was determined  to kill me, if she hadn't of been disturbed by the man walking his dog, she would of killed me"

Siobhan hugged her wife until she stopped crying, then they soaked in the bath, both gratefull Viv is alive.
