Siobhan and Marjorie

Siobhan POV

I woke up, Courtney and Luis were fast asleep still cuddled into me, I looked over at Viv she had fallen asleep on Jamie's shoulder, I looked over at Jamie.

He whispered, "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine though I could do with going the loo" I gently maneuver myself from between the twins, I walk over to Jamie, and I give him as kiss on the head and a cuddle

"What was that for?" he asked

"Because I love you, you have made me and your mum proud" I replied

I went to the loo, then I decided to sit outside by the pool, I just needed some fresh air, I grabbed myself a coffee and I headed outside. I looked over and I could see Marjorie sitting by the pool, so I went over

"This seat taken?" I asked

Marjorie looked up the look on her face said it all, she was fed up with something

"What's wrong?" I asked her

"Oh what? I'm fed-up Siobhan, I need a break from the kids, Reece work everything" she replied

I looked at Marjorie "You know I love the kids, and I love Viv I really don't think I could stay inside with them all day, meet me at the front in 20 minutes"

"Okay" replied Marjorie

I went back inside and upstairs to my bedroom I changed into one of Viv's tops a pair of jeans and my black Nike trainers I tied my hair up and put on a small amount of makeup I picked my phone and purse up and headed back downstairs, I walked quietly into the living room, the twins and Viv were still asleep, I went over and spoke to Jamie.

"I'm just going out with Aunty Marj, I don't know how long we will be, she needs some time and someone to talk to, just let them know when they wake up"

"Okay mamma, see you later"

"See you later" I kissed Jamie on the top of his head and left the house, Marjorie was already waiting outside she walked over to my car, and we got in.

"Did you drive my car home yesterday?" I asked

"Yeah, I wasn't impressed when the music was so loud when I turned the key, I shit myself when fucking Nirvana blasted out of the stereo, I could never understand your love of Grunge"

I was laughing "Yeah like I could never understand your love of New Kids on the fucking Block?"

"Oi Donnie Wahlberg was soooo fit"

"Give me Courtney Love any day"

"Does your wife know you named your daughter after you girl crush"

"It's never come up" I replied

We were laughing, I pulled out of the driveway and drove towards town.

"Where are we going?" Marjorie asked

I checked the time it was 10.30am, let's have some brunch." I suggested

I parked the car, and we went to the little cafe Viv, and I used to go to on our coffee meetings when we first got together. We walked in and got a table; we ordered brunch then chatted again.

"This place is amazing"

I smiled "Viv and I used to come here when we were first meeting up... you know when you thought we were "jogging partners" they do a nice black americano"

"Oh god yeah, I didn't realize what was going on right under my nose" she laughed

"Don't worry, I was going through a really bad time with Roger the abuse was at its worst, and I lost a baby after he punched and kicked me in the stomach"

Marjorie couldn't believe what had just told her "Oh Siobhan"

"Hey, look Viv saved me and look were Iam... anyway today is about you, as my maid of honour I thought I would take you out shopping and later we will do some day drinking"

"Sounds Great" replied Marjorie

We ate brunch then headed out to the shops, we went to a formal dress shop and looked at the various styles of dressed we needed one that complemented my dress, and after an hour we found it a black halter neck dress with sequins all the way down, it suited Marjorie perfectly, she went to pay for it I wouldn't let her.

"You are my maid of honour I'm paying for your dress"

We carried on shopping, we went to our favourite lingerie shop, and even though Marjorie was fed up with Reece, she still bought some underwear for him to enjoy taking off her, I bought myself some new underwear for when Viv is better. We walked into the bar during the day they have an offer on cocktails, it was now around 1pm we ordered 2 Porn Star Martini's along with 2 cheeseburgers and fries.

"If we are day drinking, I'm making sure you have got food in your stomach" I laughed

We ate the burgers, and the drinks started to flow, we were 4 drinks in when I decided to ask Marjorie what the problem was this morning.

"Okay I have left it until now, what was going on this morning?"

"What? Oh, I got up and as soon as I walked into the kitchen the kids were arguing over stupid stuff, then they were asking me to find things, then my wonderful husband couldn't find the file that Autumn gave him and told him not to lose, he needed it today and he couldn't find it, I had 5 of them asking me where everything was, like I was supposed to produce it out of thin air, so I told them all to go and find the stuff themselves and walked out of the house"

"Oh Marjorie, you feel like you are being taken for granted?"

"Yeah"

"Go on strike"

"What?"

"Go on strike...... I did once, when Jamie was still at home the twins were about 9, I had all four of them asking me to find things, they hadn't put anything away after I asked them to. So, once I sorted them, I went on strike. I lasted 4 days, Viv's apology was amazing, and the kids got me flowers and chocolates, they never did it again. You need to make them realize how much you do for them, including Reece. When you get home later, they will expect you to prepare tea and get everything ready for tomorrow, leave it for them to do everything, you go in, have a bath, pamper yourself then message Reece tell him to bring a glass of wine too you, make them run around after you"

"Wow Siobhan, I thought you and Viv shared everything 50/50"

"We do now, but at one point I was the one being taken for granted, now we share everything 50/50"

We had a few more cocktails and then we checked our phones Viv had messaged me, she hoped Marjorie was okay, and she would have a bath ready for me, for when I get home. Marjorie had loads of messages from Reece and the kids all asking where she was. She replied telling them she was with me and would be home later. She messaged Reece and told him to have a bath ready for her.

Jamie came to pick us up, I will get my car tomorrow, we headed home as she got to the front door, she was greeted by all of them, she walked past them all. Reece looked at me I called him over

"Reece, you and the kids need to help more around the house, Marjorie feels like she is being taken for granted, if you all don't start helping her, the kids will have me to answer too, and you will be sleeping in the pool house, I'm going inside my house to play naughty nurse with my wife" I winked at Reece and left him standing there
