Girly chats, wedding plans and a trip to the pub
Vivian's POV
I'm sitting in the living room my mind is all over the place, I said to Siobhan I understood why she pushed me away but I'm still trying to process it , I just couldn't get my head around it, I look at the spot on the floor where Friday night I was standing with my wife and I was undressing her, she didn't push me away then, she loved, she wanted me to touch her. I'm in a world of my own when I'm suddenly aware of someone sitting next to me, I expected to be Siobhan, it wasn't, it was Mia. She nudged me out of my daydream.
"Hey you, okay?" she asked
"Not really Siobhan pushed me away before, I put my hand on her arm, and she pushed me away, I can't get my head around it"
"Yeah, Reecey told me what happened, you had just found out Roger had escaped hadn't you?"
I nodded
"Shibby was probably overthinking and panicking, the mention of his name makes my skin crawl, after what he did to me, it was probably ten times worse for Shibby, she probably hasn't thought about him in a long time, she has you, and the twins to deal with"
I laughed when Mia said that, as she's right, my antics with Reece mixed with the twins can take up a lot of Siobhan's time. "Don't forget I have seen you and Reecey in action and you and Marjorie must deal with the aftermath"
We were both laughing when Siobhan walked in the living room, Mia moved off the couch to one of the chairs, Siobhan sat on my lap, wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me. "I'm sorry for pushing you away earlier, my mind was going into overdrive"
"It's okay baby, I understand" I kissed her again
"Oh, please stop, you two are just as bad as your neighbors"
"Oh, like you don't throw yourself at your wife in front of everyone" Siobhan replies back
After we have finished laughing the conversation turns serious
"I have called round to let you know that there will be security details at the nursery if you need them whilst Roger is on the loose, we think he is likely to turn up there than anywhere else, I have sent all the details to D.S Tyler so she is aware of them, I'm working alongside her to find Roger, hopefully we can catch him before he tries anything. Plus, I rang the solicitor to find out why we hadn't been notified about his escape, apparently there was a message left on Friday night, if I hadn't of rang today, he wouldn't have got it till Monday morning, all calls should have been transferred to his mobile as he is the on call solicitor this weekend, the transfer hadn't been put on, so someone is in for it tomorrow morning"
"That's a relief, thank you Mia" I reply
"Would you like to stay for supper?" Siobhan asks
"No thanks it's date night with Charlotte we are going out for a meal, I'm off to go and meet her"
"Have a lovely time, see you in the office tomorrow"
"Bye" shouts Mia
"Right, I will go and finish supper, will you get the twins" asked Siobhan
"Okay babe"
I head upstairs to get Courtney and Luis, I check my phone, there are 2 messages one from Reece and one from Marjorie
R- "Mate we still on for the pub, I really need to talk?"
V- "Deffo mate, just grabbing something to eat, then I will be ready to go"
