Viv's POV

I was laying back into Siobhan in the bath, the water stung my whole body when I first got in, the hot water, covering my body the cuts and bruises. I had some dry dressings from the hospital for my wrists as there is just no way I could keep them dry. I sighed with relief as Janice was determined to kill me today, and have Siobhan suffer in pain. Thank God for my neighbour walking his dog that's all I can say, I will forever be in his debt I will buy him a large bottle of whiskey as a thank you.

I felt Siobhan start to gently wash me, I sat forward so she could wash my back, then I rested on her again and she washed my chest, I moaned in pleasure when she did that, I tried not to, but I just couldn't help it, I love Siobhan touching me. I felt a tap on my shoulder "Hey none of that, I'm looking after you, you almost died" Siobhan said

"I can't help it, if my wife is as sexy as fuck, and I love her touching me.... plus, I didn't die, I'm very much alive and I'm going to enjoy my wife and the fact that she is naked right now"

I turned in the bath, so I was facing her, I wrapped my legs around her waist, and she wrapped her legs around my waist, I pulled her closer to me, and I kissed her I could feel the relief, the fear that she thought lost me, and the passion in that kiss, I stroked her back then I spoke "All joking aside, I really thought I was going to die, I had never seen anyone with the look in their eyes that Janice had, she was out for revenge and out to make you suffer, all I could think about was you and the kids and what I would miss out on. That made me more determined to live, I'm not going to miss any part of our life together, Until the big man upstairs wants me. We have a wonderful life together, three brilliant kids and a beautiful grandson and as for our friends, they are also our family. No one is going to ruin that okay" Siobhan is crying, I kiss her lips and her face.

"Now let's get dressed and relax with the kids I think Court and Lu should stay off school today"

"Okay" replied Siobhan

We get out of the bath, get dressed as usual Siobhan puts on a vest, hoodie, shorts and slouch socks, I put shorts and Hoodie on I hate wearing socks all the time.

We head downstairs the twins are still asleep on the couch, Jamie is in the kitchen Siobhan goes and sits with the twins I watch her as she cuddles in the middle of them, they immediately snuggle into her. I almost lost them, I thought to myself, I walked into the kitchen Jamie was on the phone to Emma, he was just finishing speaking with her.

"How are my daughter in law and my grandson?" I asked

"They are fine, I was just giving Emma an update on you, I have taken the day off work, I want to spend it here with you"

"You don't have too"

"Mum in the space of a week, my sister was beaten and almost raped, my brother was panicking he hadn't protected his sister, then my mum was almost murdered.... I want to spend the day here" he replied

I put my hands up "Okay, okay, one condition?"

"And what would that be?"

"You make me a cup of tea" I laughed

Jamie rolled his eyes and put the kettle on, "I will make mamma a coffee, where is she?"

"She's in the living room with the twins"

Jamie looked at me he was in Dr mode "How are you? Are you in pain? Let me re-dress your wrists"

I had forgotten to get Siobhan to put the new dressing on, Jamie got the dressing out and he looked at my wrists, I could see tears in his eyes and pure anger on his face. He put antiseptic cream on, the stitches were still in place, then dry dressing and bandaged both wrists.

"She was determined to kill you, wasn't she?" he asked

"Yes son, she wanted mamma to suffer; by losing the love of her life, I wasn't got to let that happen, I have too much to live for apart from mamma, there's you Emma and Michael, I want to see him play for Liverpool, there's Court and Lu, I want to see them happy and married like you, and I want to enjoy my retirement with your mamma, so some fucking bitch wasn't going to take that away from me" I replied

"I can't imagine my life without you or mamma if I'm honest"

"That day will come but not for another 30 years.... hopefully" I replied

"We are proud of you; I know me and mamma weren't happy at first when you told us Emma was pregnant, you had just started university, Emma dropped out"

"Emma deferred"

"Okay Emma deferred her studies, but you stood up and took responsibility for everything"

"I know you were both disappointed with me and Emma so were her parents, but we knew from day one that we would get married and have children, we just did it a lot sooner than planned, once Michael starts nursery Emma will go back to university and complete her midwifery training. I have decided to become an A&E Dr, I have already got a place on the emergency medicine course. We have everything planned" he added

"Important question?" I said

"What's that?" he asked

"Which nursery is Michael going to? You have three to choose from?" I laughed

"We have thought about that, we have him registered at Sorcha's nursery." he added

"Perfect at least then Charlotte and Marjorie won't argue over which one he goes too"

"Yeah, there is that, but also Sorcha's nursey is closet to us" he laughed

Jamie made the tea and coffee, and we walked into the living room, I checked the time it was not 8am, Siobhan had fallen asleep with Courtney and Luis cuddled into her, I sat next to Jamie on the other couch, I rang the school and let them know that the twins wouldn't be in that day. I replied to Jen, Grace's mum, letting her know about the twins. Then I sat back Jamie put his arm around me. We looked at each other "You know mum when I was little, and we moved away from our friends with nan, I wished for a little brother or sister and for a new daddy.... Instead, I got a fantastic mamma, and the best little brother and sister anyone could have, and you are happy.... I just miss nan"

"I know it was a risk moving away, but I had to it wasn't safe for me or you, nan took a gamble and came with us once we settled, I know it took a while, but I got together with mamma I have been happy ever since, we have worked hard to get where we are and no-one is going to ruin it, okay Jay-Jay"

"Okay mum"

I sat there for a bit longer until I fell asleep cuddled into my eldest son.
