Chapter One

The Unexpected Encounter

Naglalakad si Sarah sa isang mall pagkatapos ng isang photoshoot. Napagod siya mula sa mahabang araw ng trabaho, pero hindi maalis ang ngiti sa kanyang mga labi. Ang kanyang mga tagahanga ay palaging nagbibigay ng saya sa kanya. Sa kanyang isip, ito ang dahilan kung bakit siya nagpatuloy sa kanyang karera sa showbiz.

As she entered a small café to grab a coffee, she noticed a familiar face from a distance. It was one of her loyal fans, always attending her events and shows.

"Hi, Sarah!" tawag ng babae. "Can I take a picture with you?"

"Of course!" sagot niya, na nakangiti. After the picture, Sarah felt a rush of excitement. She loved her fans, but as she looked around, she noticed someone standing quietly in the corner.

Mark had been following Sarah’s career for years. He knew everything about her—her favorite movies, her hobbies, and even her family. However, this was the first time he had seen her up close. His heart raced as he mustered the courage to approach her.

"Um, hi, Sarah," he said, stammering slightly. "I’m Mark. I’m your biggest fan."

"Hi, Mark!" sagot ni Sarah na may ngiti. "Thank you for your support! It really means a lot to me."

Mark’s heart soared. He was talking to his idol, and she was smiling at him! “I just wanted to say how much I admire your work. You’re amazing!”

“Salamat! I really appreciate it. It’s fans like you that keep me going,” she replied, feeling the warmth of genuine admiration.

As they chatted, Mark felt a strange pull towards her. Ang bawat salita ni Sarah ay parang musika sa kanyang mga tainga. He wanted to stay there forever, listening to her voice. But deep down, he felt a flicker of something more—an obsession that was slowly brewing.

Hindi nagtagal at natapos ang kanilang pag-uusap. Sarah had to leave for a meeting, but before she did, she smiled at Mark and said, "It was nice meeting you. I hope to see you again!"

Mark could barely contain his excitement. "Definitely! I’ll be at your next event!"

He hesitated before hitting send, but eventually, he did. To his surprise, after a few minutes, a notification popped up: “Sarah liked your message.”

Mark’s heart raced. It was a small acknowledgment, but to him, it felt monumental. Suddenly, the idea of being with Sarah became more than just a dream; it felt attainable.

Days turned into weeks, and Mark continued to support Sarah from afar. He attended her events, always keeping a low profile, but making sure she could see him in the crowd. He wanted her to notice him, to remember his face. Little did he know, he was becoming a fixture in her life, even if she didn’t realize it.
