Everyone stuck in their place hearing the female authoritative voice making Vrushali open her eyes and turned towards the voice to see a woman in her seventies walking towards them with a cane "What is happening here?"
Vrushali immediately hid herself behind the old woman "See grandma! He is throwing his wife away from here".
"Wife?" The old woman questioned.
"She is no wife of mine" Karna gritted out.
"No! I'm your wife! Why are you lying penmiti(hubby)?" Vrushali pouted.
"If you are my wife I would remember our marriage or at least the people I stay with would remember. Do you guys know her?" Karna questioned everyone around him.
The servants shook their heads making Vrushali huff "Ours was a secret marriage! We eloped from my marriage and as we were escaping some goons attacked that's how I fell from the stairs and the last thing I saw was your face".
"It is true that someone attacked her Rajmata and Raja Saab was the one who saved her" One of the servants said truthfully.
"I was doing my Surya namaskar when I saved you from Gangamma (River Ganga) and I saved you again from the goons but you...you ungrateful woman trying to trap me" Karna took a step forward but Rajamata put the came in between him and her.
"What's your name girl?" Rajmata questioned.
"My name is..." Vrushali narrowed her eyes not knowing what to introduce herself.
Karna scoffed "She doesn't even know her name but she calls me husband! Wow! What a great liar".
"I....I...." Vrushali tried to tell her name but suddenly turned around when she heard some noise on TV where pravachan about mythology was playing.
"Karnudi bharya Vrushali enta badapadi untundi..."
"Vrushali....." Vrushali faced Karna "My name is Vrushali, Karna's wife".
Karna narrowed his eyes looking at her as Rajamata ordered one of the maids "Satya! Take her to the room and fix her with a wardrobe".
The maid Satya nodded and directed Vrushali to her room while Karna glared at Rajmata"Just because I'm respecting you doesn't mean you'll do whatever you want".
"That woman is here because of you and I want you to take care of her not just leave her out while she is talking rubbish! Prove that she is not your wife until then she'll be here as your wife" Rajamata stated.
"There is no proof that she's my wife" Karna yelled at her making everyone take a step back.
"There is no proof that she is not your wife! You saved her and bought her here so you better solve your own problem and not tarnish my family name" Rajmata warned before walking away.
Vrushali was looking at the interiors with Satya following her "Why are you looking at me like I'm an alien?"
Satya stopped making Vrushali turn around "I can sense your gaze".
Satya sheepishly smiled "Are you really our Raja Saab's wife?"
Vrushali raised her eyebrows "Why? Don't we look like we were made for each other?"
"It's not that! I've never seen him being close to any lady and suddenly you popped up out of nowhere so..." Satya realised what she said and widened her eyes "I apologise Rani sa...I didn't mean to..."
Vrushali chuckled "It's fine! Nobody would think ours was a love marriage".
Satya raised her eyebrows in her hairline "Love marriage? That too with Raja Saab?".
Vrushali nodded "Haan! It's like we were born to love and fulfil each other you know. It never felt like I was meeting him for the first time and the love happened. Even now if I don't remember anything, I just remembered him....my husband, my soulmate".
"Hey Ganga mayya(river Ganga)! I never expected Raja Saab to have such a loving wife. I don't know why Raja Saab is behaving like that but I really wish he accepts you as his wife Rani sa" Satya heartfully wished it as she showed Vrushali her room.
