It has been a week later. Me and Will have been speaking on a phone a lot more. Low-key have been ditching Jane and the others just to even message the guy.It was lunch time at school. Jane was sitting next to me while Lucas and Dustin were sitting on the opposite side. It was silent- not really everyone was just talking around our table. My friends were talking about the latest comic what was coming out in the new year.
Jane was sitting awfully close to me. Her feet kept tapping against my upper ankle on my right leg.
"Guys!" The brunette girl spoke cutting the two boys out their conversation. We all were looking at her when a small... grin? Appeared in her lips. "I want to throw a holiday party." She said making the two-children across from us get all excited for no reason.
"Yes omg we could throw-the-party-of-the-year!" Dustin said leaning closer into the table."Yeah." Jane said then turned to me. Her hand traveled to my thigh keeping it in place where it was just above my knee. "What do you think Michael?" She asked.
"Well Jane." I started off moving my thigh away from her hand. Letting it slowly slip off. "I don't know, it's Christmas soon everyone would just want to be with their family's, no?" I asked taking a small bite of my ham and cheddar sandwiched.
"Come on Mike, let loose. You've been sticking to yourself for the past week. Are you okay man?" Lucas inverted his gaze to me making a small smile appear in my lips while swallowing my bite of food.
"I'm good, it's just Jane throwing a party-"
"Come on Mike, believe in me." Looking at the girl on my right whom was leaning on her hand, her elbow resting on the table. She had a smug expression across her face. Inching closer towards me-
"Y'all a thing now?" I heard the two say at the same time. Glancing back up at them. I've noticed what it looked like to them. Jane giggles from my right.
"Don't be silly you guys. Me and Mike are just really close friends." She straightens her back taking a bite of her cheesy pasta.
The table soon fell into a silence.
"MAX!" Lucas screams out holding his hands up in the air. She smiled back at him but also looking like she wanted to scold him for shouting her name.
Waking over to Lucas giving him a small kiss on his lips before sitting down on the other side of Jane. Taking her attention away from me. Thank fuck.
"So where is the party going to be?" I asked the two boys.
"I think Janes. As it was her idea." Lucas spoke up.
"I don't think she can supervise a party- she will be the drunkest one there." I fire back. I just didn't want to go to a stupid fucking party.
"And you'll have to take care of her. I'm staying with Max and homey here." He swings his arm around Dustin. "Needs to find a girlfriend so we can all go on a triple date."
Triple date? Who implied this?
Like I would wanna go on that.
"Guys, Will will help me do it if I ask nicely. He can also get us the good shit." She smiled at all of us. Her eyes darted to mine for longer than anyone else's. I only smiled at her in return. She soon looked back at the red haired girl on her right.
Everyone glanced at her. They didn't know Will. So they looked at here with some conversation but wiped off immediately.
Will is going to be there? Shucks I'll be there too.
"Can I help set up?" I asked letting the brunette blush slightly.
"Of course you can!"
"When is it?" Hopefully it's when we have time off. Let's hope she not dumb to get people drunk on a school night.
"23rd of December."
"Cool."
It's the tenth today so we have 13 days till then. Kinda feeling a little excited now to see if Will is a party animal or not.
