Lover
"Rep, wake up."
"Noo."
"Rep, your phone is ringing. Turn it off."
"Finee." I heard Rep shuffling about and then answering her phone.
"Hello?..... Yeah. What do you want?..... What?!" The tone of Rep's voice changed from annoyance to concern so I sat up quickly, trying to blink the sleepiness away. "Is she okay?....Yeah, Okay."
"Rep, what happened?"
"Speak Now is in the hospital."
"What? How?" Concern washed over my face.
"The guy said she was in a car accident." Rep got up and pulled on a jacket.
"Oh my- Did she come back home last night?"
"I can't remember. We should go. He didn't say how bad she was, just that we should come to the hospital."
"Yeah, yeah." I got up too and put on a jacket. A look out through the window showed that the storm hadn't died down. "Are we gonna be able to drive in this weather?"
"I don't know but we have to try."
"Okay, I'll go wake the others up and tell them. "
I went to Red's room and woke her up. The two of us got everyone else up.
"Nine, open the door. It's an emergency." Thankfully, she opened the door.
"What happened?"
"Speak Now was in a car accident. We're going to the hospital."
She didn't get a chance to say anything before Rep spoke up getting everyone's attention. "Okay, Lover and I are going to the hospital."
"I'll come too." I looked over at Evemore. "We should take my pickup truck. Your car will probably get stuck."
"Right." I nodded in agreement.
"Why can't we all go?" I turned to Red who said that, worry etched across her face.
"Look, Lover and I will go with Evermore. Folklore, your car should be fine for driving. You can take Red."
Folklore nodded in agreement. "Okay. I can do that."
"The rest of you, wait for the storm to calm down and then meet us there." Rep looked at Fearless and Debut specifically.
I turned back to 1989. "Nine, please watch those two."
"Okay."
"Are you gonna be alright?" I was worried about her. She hadn't spoken to anyone yesterday and she still seemed distant.
"Yeah I'll be fine." I gave her a hug which she returned a bit reluctantly at first. The rest of us set off for the hospital after that.
Visibility on the roads were horrible. We had to drive really slowly but we manged to make it there in one piece. As soon as we got in and out of the snow, we rushed to the front desk.
"I'm looking for Speak Now."
"Oh. That one." The lady looked up from her computer.
"What do you mean that one?"
"Chill lady. She's the one that got found under a bunch of snow. She's our famous patient tonight."
What is it with these weird hospital staff. Where do they find these people. "Is she going to be okay? We want to see her."
