One day i will have it all figured out
My fist will be closed, palm faced down
The roof will no longer hear me plead
To the people waiting in the distant town
Are the blinking lights from people like me
Asking for help on sleepless nights
Are they too plauged with things to be
Is the sky too lost just like me

The captivating night has secrets too
Stored in the depths of its darkness
Some borrowed from people sharing their woe
Some confessions in moments of weakness
Empties the worries of a restless heart
The night has tricks up its sleeve
While the cool winds whispers words of strength
The abyss unhappiness relives

Waves of emotions tugged outside
Darkness held my hand
Million woes filled the void
And mine was just a strand
The cold filled up the emptiness
And loosened painful ties
A flicker of hope intensified
Beneath the starless skies
