Journey of Day

The chirping of birds does wake up dawn
Who lazily spreads its arms over the lawn
And vreaks the dormancy of every beast
And bids goodbye to the fog and mist

There the sleepy dawn paves way for day
And men get ready to walk their way
To work and women begin their work
In search of food sets about the stork

When day climbs higher up in the sky
Overcome by tiredness it does fly
Away and hands the rein of the sun
Over to noon to hve all the fun

Noon is the shyest sister of day
Blushing all golden she moves up the way
When we look at her she blushes more
Till it hurts our eyes a curse to adore

Then slowly for lunch noon escapes
And afternoon arrives to take its place
Bringing in packs of drowsiness along
And in men induces sleep all strong

Then finally dusk pushes her away
And the colour of the heavens changes to grey
All men and birds return to their homes
While night vamps wake and start to roam

When dusk leaves evening brings in the breeze
So that its aura doesn't decrease
And waits for the night to drag in the moon
To step to the throne of the night sky soon

Night unveils its darkness over the street
And the shining starlight provites a beat
Of wonderous views and beauty shines around
In shades of black from sky to ground

And as night starts to sing a sweet lullaby
It becomes stronger than afternoon in order to tie
men with their sleepand take control
Of everyones dream which deep sleep rolls

And in the peaceful silence that then follow
All elemnets of nature their heads bow
Cause a meet of two eternal mights
Would take place to present a beautiful sight

Thats when the night hands the heavenly throne
To the near approaching the break of dawn
Soft murmurs had orecedded her way
Signalling the end of one journeu of day
