Jump. || Chapter 7

I run.
Not looking behind me to make sure Calum's there.
I don't stop until I reach a cliff.
It drops off.
Another arrow goes flying past me, skimming my elbow.
Do I jump, or let him capture me.
I look over the edge.
Water.
"I'll find you Jen!"
Calum comes running next to me.
A gash on his arm.
"So you're names Jen,eh?"
I roll my eyes.
We hear trees starting to break, as Luke approaches.
"Jump."
He looks at me wide eyed.
"What?"
"I said jump."
I leap off, with Calum following.
It feels like hours to get to the water.
We finally crash it.
We wait under the water, hoping Luke will turn around.
My lungs start to burn, I can feel myself kicking the water slower and slower.
I'm giving up.
Calum lifts me up onto the beach.
I choke out water.
"W-what are we going to do?"
"I don't know."
- Michael's pov-
When I got Jen's text, I sped over to Ashton's, bringing a knife with me.
I open the front door and walk in.
All the lights are off.
"Hello?"
I continue to walk until u feel a shape pain over my head.
"Hello Clifford."
I see Ashton's form and then it goes black.
- Jen's pov -
We find a small cave and sit in it.
No source of heat, no food, no water.
I can feel the cold wind hit my cheek.
"We need to find a way out of here."
Calum picks up a stick and starts to draw in the sand.
My eyes focusing in the dark, to see he's making a map.
He puts two x's in it.
"This is where we came in at."
He points to the x.
"This is where the property should end."
He points to the other end of the 'map'.
"How do we get there?"
He points past the lake we jumped into.
"It's that way."
"How do you know?"
He laughs.
"I've spent a lot of time in these woods Jen. I know how to get out, but I need another person to help me."
I raise an eyebrow at him.
"Rocks, there's rocks in the way and I need another set of hands to move them."
I look down at my feet.
Calum gets up and sits next to me.
"So. What do you think?"
I nod my head.
"I'm in."
