One Year Later
The pack grounds were alive with excitement for the twins' first birthday. The sun shone brightly, and colorful decorations adorned the trees. A banner read, "Happy 1st Birthday, Twins!"
Tables were filled with food and treats, and a bouncy castle and face-painting station entertained the kids.
Marcos, in a "Grill Master" apron, flipped burgers with a grin.
Aiyden, holding one twin, approached him. "Look at you, Mr. Grill Master," Aiyden teased. Marcos chuckled, placing a burger on a bun.
"I had to make everything perfect," he said, winking.
Aiyden laughed as the twin tugged on his hair. "Ouch! Someone's excited," he said.
The other twin grabbed Marcos's leg, and he scooped both twins up, their giggles infectious.
"Alright, let's get this party started," Marcos said joyfully.
Trayvon and Javier joined with plates of food. "You outdid yourself, Alpha. The food smells amazing," Trayvon grinned.
Javier nodded. "Yeah, I might have to steal you for our next gathering."
Marcos laughed. "Anytime, guys."
Alex and Stephanie arrived with their son. "Hey, Luna Aiyden! Look at this little one, already joining the party," Stephanie said, bouncing the baby.
Manuel and Emily walked over with their son and their adopted five-year-old Omega daughter, Lilly, one of the rescued ones. "Looks like we've got a future warrior here," Emily smiled as her son reached for a balloon.
Branden-lee and Jadyn arrived with their almost one-year-old son. Jadyn laughed as their son squirmed in his arms to get to the bouncing Castle. "He's already trying to keep up with the big kids," Jadyn said, shaking his head with a smile.
Alpha Benjamin and Luna Duncan arrived with their three-month-old son. Duncan cradled the curious baby.
"Looks like someone is ready to party," Alpha Benjamin said, grinning at Marcos and Aiyden.
Elder Malik and Elder Ruth joined the gathering. Elder Ruth smiled warmly at the twins. "Such a joyous occasion," she said.
Alpha Avery and Luna Hailan arrived with their newborn son. Hailan gently rocked the baby. "It's wonderful to see everyone here," Alpha Avery said.
The twins, Deven Michael and Raoul Alexander were the stars of the day.
Deven wore short jeans, a green shirt, and white Nike kids' tennis shoes. He looked like a perfect blend of Aiyden and Marcos, with dark mixed hair and fair skin. His eyes were a rare combination of gray, green, and sparks of blue.
Raoul Alexander, the Alpha twin, wore the same pants as his Omega brother but had a blue shirt.
Raoul, with fair, sun-kissed skin and dark green eyes with a speck of gold, was the spitting image of Marcos.
