Double update

----------*****----------

The news slithered through the pack like a venomous snake at dusk, whispering of their Alpha's life hanging by a thread, and their Luna vanished into thin air. Drawn by the gravity of the situation, the pack members assembled in front of the Pack House.

Fear and worry carved themselves into their faces, especially those who had watched Marcos grow from birth.

Risen from the ashes of the River Pack—despite the raw wounds of the past, the New Moon Pack stood strong.

But still, the thought of losing another beloved Alpha and Luna was a dread too monstrous to bear.

Rolf, Sol, Phoenix, Rocky, Sebastian, and Azriel let out sorrowful howls that pierced the night. With their haunting melody accompanying their frantic journey to the pack hospital, Javier left Elder Malik in charge. Despite his status as an Elder, Malik's history as an Alpha inspired trust and confidence.

Inside the Pack House was a maelstrom of panic and fear. Elder Jonas's voice cut through the chaos, sharp as a silver dagger.

"Abraham, I need those trackers at the New Moon Pack now!" His words were growling, and his frustration was palpable. He paused, listened, and then barked into the phone.

"I don't care if the world's ending—this takes precedence; we must find Luna Aiyden as soon as possible!"

The weight of their grim reality hung heavy in the air. The threat was a shadow that darkened every heart, and the urgency of the situation pressed down on them like a heavy storm cloud.

Alpha Ian entered a desperate dialogue with his Beta, JJ, and his father, Alpha Rick, as chaos took hold. Their voices, echoing over the phone, added another layer to the tumultuous soundscape. Each voice was tinged with panic, merging with the surrounding clamor and fueling the growing maelstrom of dread.

"Dad," Ian forced out in a whisper, "it's bad. Marcos... he... he's been in a car crash. And Aiyden... he's been kidnapped...I know Luis must be responsible."

The voice on the other end responded with a low growl that sent shivers down Ian's spine. "I knew something like this would happen; that son-of-a-bitch Luis never knows when to quit! Why is it taking so long to find him? What the hell is the Council doing, sitting on their asses?!" Alpha Rick's anger was a palpable force on the other end of the line.

"Dad, put me on speaker. I need to talk to JJ... how's my boy? Is he behaving?" Rick could sense his son's distress; he knew how much Ian cared for Marcos and Javier, who were like younger brothers to him. He tried to keep his voice steady as he replied.

"Liam Alexis is fine. Your mother is taking care of him. Just focus on helping Marcos."

Alpha Ian, a storm of emotions unleashed, paced the room. His voice, usually steady, now fractured under the weight of his words. His eyes, a tranquil dark brown, now a stormy red, mirrored the emotional turmoil he fought to suppress. His mate, Axel, wept in his arms, his body convulsing in rhythm with Ian's silent despair.
