Trouble – Neon Jungle 😈🔥
"I don't look for trouble, but trouble looks for me..."

Flynn had always been flirty—it was just who he was. A casual, unserious type of flirt that made everyone roll their eyes but still laugh at his ridiculousness.
But today?
Today, he was on another level.
"You know, Kat," Flynn mused, dramatically leaning against my desk, "I think we have a real connection. Like, cosmic fate-level."
I blinked. "...Excuse me?"
"Think about it," he continued, completely unbothered by my confusion. "We work together. We have great banter. And, most importantly—" he placed a hand over his chest, "I am deeply invested in your happiness."
I snorted. "Flynn, are you drunk?"
"Drunk on love, maybe," he shot back, winking.
From across the room, I felt the temperature drop.
Patrick was staring.
Natalie, sipping her coffee, hid her smirk behind the cup, clearly enjoying the show.
"You're being weird," I deadpanned. "Even for you."
Flynn grinned. "You're single right? Maybe we should get together."
The air shifted.
Patrick's entire expression darkened.
A dangerous silence filled the room.
Flynn—who apparently had a death wish today—grinned, waiting for Patrick's reaction.
Patrick did not smile back.
Instead, he got up very slowly, adjusting his sleeves in the most threatening way possible, and crossed the room in three long strides.
He stopped right next to Flynn, towering over him. "We're dating."
Silence.
Pin-drop silence.
Every single person in the room turned toward us like we had just announced we were secret spies or something.
Patrick's grip on my hand tightened, as if he had just realized what he'd said.
But it was too late.
The secret was out.
My face burned as everyone stared at us—Theo's smirk grew dangerously wide, Natalie's eyes sparkled with mischief, and Flynn... oh, Flynn just grinned like a damn Cheshire cat.
"Well." Flynn turned to Theo, clapping his hands together. "Looks like you were right, man."
And just like that—every single one of them burst into laughter.
Patrick looked like he was about to start throwing hands. "What the hell is so funny?!"
Theo wiped fake tears from his eyes. "Oh, nothing—just the fact that we already knew."
Patrick and I froze.
"WHAT?!" we shouted at the same time.
"Ohhh, this is gonna be so good," Natalie smirked, crossing her arms. "Would you two like to hear the story of how you played yourselves?"
