It was 4am, but Brianna was skipping. The time had come, it was the day they were going back to Minnesota. She met up with the rest of the team and Geno and headed to the airport. The rest of the girls on the team were still consumed with tiredness, but both Paige and Brianna were wide awake, smiles permanently attatched to their faces.

They were finally making their way onto the plane, Paige and brianna were sat together. as they were sitting there they were each texting their loved ones. Paige was texting her dad, letting him know that she was on the plane and Brianna was texting her best friends basically telling them that she can't survive another second without them.

They had finally landed and were headed to the bus Geno had rented, fitting all the girls nicely. They made their way to the hotel that most of the girls were going to sleep at but Paige was going back to her dad's and Brianna was going back to her parents. Brianna was going to spend Thursday night at her parents, Friday night round Paige's with the rest of the team and Saturday night round Maizie's with Lily before their flight on Sunday at 6pm.

The team were in the lobby of the hotel, people immediately noticing Paige as she was an icon around Minnesota. She took a few pictures and signed a few things. It was only 10am, even though for the rest of the girls it has felt like a whole day, their game was at 7pm so Geno told the girls to rest up until 4:30pm as this is when they would start warming up and practicing for the game until 6:30 followed by a 30 minute break before the game. Paige decided she would rest in the hotel for a bit until later when she would go say hi to drew and her dad later on, because she knew if she went now she would not get any rest at all. It was a big game for her, most of her extended family would be there which is rare as her games are usually too far away for any of them to make it, but this one is local so everyone would be there. Including a lot of her old friends who hadn't seen her play since high school. Even though she was really good back then, she was even better now, so she was excited for everyone to see her in action.

Brianna went along with Paige back to their room that they would be sharing, even though neither of them were spending a night here. She had decided she would freshen up and rest until 12pm, which was when she was meeting up with her best friends and going out to lunch. They had plans to hang out all day, before Brianna had to join back with the team at 4:30pm. Lily and Maizie were also attending the game, along with Brianna's parents. The team were having a late dinner after the game, Geno had reserved a whole restaurant for them. So any of Paige's family and Brianna's family were able to join, so obviously Brianna's parents and friends would be joining along after the game.

"It feels crazy being back" Brianna started up the conversation. "Yeah I know, it still doesn't feel real, probably won't until I see my family." Paige chuckled. "Are you planning to meet them before the game or nah?" Brianna curiously asked. "Yeah I'm gonna go home to dad and drew just before 3pm, stay there for a bit and then come back for 4:30pm. I know if I go now, I won't get a rest, and I so need a rest. Aren't you meeting Maizie and Lily in a bit?" Paige questioned. "Yeah, at 12, so I have a few hours to freshen up and just relax." She responded. "Cool, cool." Paige finished off. "You go shower first, then you can just go to sleep, I'll hop in after you." Brianna offered, causing Paige to stand up and head towards the bathroom before giving Brianna a thankful nod.
