2: brianna

Brianna had settled into her dorm, decorating it took longer than expected but her new roommate helped her out which was a good icebreaker. Her name was Julia, but everyone called her Jules. Brianna liked Jules and Jules seemed to take Brianna under her wing. Jules showed her all the best places to eat on campus and told her where not to go unless she wanted her future to involve food poisoning.

It has been two weeks since class had started and Brianna hadn't seen Paige once. In the first week everywhere she went she'd always look around paranoid in case the star basketball player wanted to make an appearance, but by week two Brianna had calmed down and the fear of running into Paige fully disappeared as it seemed almost impossible. Her and Jules became exceptionally close and began to go everywhere together. Where you saw Jules, a wide eyed Brianna was probably behind. Brianna had made multiple new friends but not to the level of Jules, Jules was her ride or die. But Brianna still called her two besties (more like sisters), Lily and Maizie everyday. Nothing had changed between them except for the distance which sometimes left an uneasy feeling in Brianna's heart and sometimes it caused her to tear up right before falling asleep at night. But overall Brianna was living her best life. Connecticut had felt more like home in two weeks than Minnesota had in 19 years.
