We walked into a huge warehouse. It was dark and dirty. The only way we saw anything was through the broken windows on the ceiling that gave us moonlight. It was basically empty. There were some random planks of wood and glass on the floor. "Spread out and look for anything clues of them being here."

Steve instructed. We did. I used my power. I made a ball of glowing purple. I left it in my palm and searched with the light directed at the floor. Clint, Natasha, and Steve used flashlights. Tony used his suit. I follow a path of shattered glass. I then see a staircase. It leads to a door. I walked up the stairs and the door read, 'office'.

I was just about to go in, but, "Steve, I've found blood and used rope."
Natasha reports. We all pace over to see. There was quite a bit of blood. The rope was drowned in it. "It looks like they were careful not to step in it." Clint says. A small breeze catches our attention. We look in the direction of the draft.

It was an open doorway, but there was no door.
"Steve, I found a room. I don't think there's anyone in it, though." I said. "Ok, let's break into two teams." Steve instructs. "Clint and Natasha will come with me. We'll look for them. You go inspect the rooms." Tony says.

I led Steve to the stairs. When we walked up to the last one, the door was to our left. I looked over the edge. We weren't too high up. But that would be a good fall. Nothing fatal unless you went head first. Steve opened the door. He pushed it to the wall, and it creaked loudly. "No one's inside." I report. My eyes turn back to their normal color.

Steve walks through first. I went next. It was a small office room. There were a few boxes of paperwork, and there was a dusty desk. I see a light switch on the wall. I turn it on, and one light bulb, with no protective covering, was in the middle of the ceiling.

The room smelled like mold. Steve opens one of the boxes. It has several files in it. One of the walls was actually made of glass. The glass was dirty, but I think it was used for the manager to inspect his employees.

Steve started scimming through them. I looked around the desk. There were a few drawers connected to it. I looked through a few. The first one was empty. The second one also, but the third had a photo that was lying face down.

I picked it up and turned it around. It was a picture of seven bloodied people. They were tied to chairs and had ducktape over their mouths. It took me a second, but I realized it. "Steve! -" Before either of us had a chance to do anything, smoke bombs filled the room.

I feel a body jump onto me. Startled, I wrestled the person who was on me. "Stay down." Steve says. Revealing himself. "You scared the shit out of me." My voice cracking. "Shh!" He stands up, and I could hear him fighting. I can't believe he tried to protect me.

I was used to my brothers, but... There was no time to get flustered. I jumped to my feet, and I heard the glass frame shatter. "Steve!" I yell and catch him in the air before he fell. He didn't respond because he was unconscious.

I was expecting the people who attacked him to charge at me, but they just stood there. My eyes filled with purple as my anger fumed. "Take it easy." One of them muffled under their black mask. "Too late." I slowly killed the two guys there. I don't feel like going into detail. I probably should have asked them about the photo, but oh well.

Steve was still in the air and unconscious. I was slowly bringing him back up. I see two hands come from the side of the doorway. My attention turned to them. "I just wanna talk." I guy says. I lay Steve on the ground. "What the hell was that kind of talk a minute ago!" I yell. I bring Cap's shield up along with the shattered glass.

The last man shows himself. "I'm sorry, but we didn't really have an option."
"Well, you've seemed to have made it this far. Since you haven't tried anything sneaky." My mood was already ruined. I fixed the glass and respectfully placed  Steve's shield beside him. I placed Steve against the wall.

"I just wanna talk." He repeats. "Fine." I lift the photo from before off the floor with levitation. He stiffens. "Let's talk about this." I pass it to him. "That's what I wanted to talk about." He says. "Goodie." I reply sarcastic. "Where do you have my brothers?" I cross my arms. "Their location cannot be exposed." He replies.

I smirk. "Well, then, you have no use for me." My eyes turned purple as my powers were active. "I still have value." He ensures slightly panicked. I raise my eyebrows. "Enlighten me." My powers still present. "We will agree to setting your brothers free, unharmed, if you agree to coming with me."

"Unharmed? That pictured showed the opposite of unharmed." I protest. "Well, you can't be surprised. It's not like they went willingly." He reasons. My rage only fumed. "What would I have to do?" I ask. "You come with me." He repeats. "No shit! What do I have to give in return!" I yell more frustrated.

"You become... useful." I stare blankly. "I'm not dumb. I know I'm going to be of some, 'use', but what I'm asking is what is it?" If he gives me one more none specific answer, he going to taste the ground. "You will become a servant to us." He finally answers.

My mind stops. Past memories from before strikes me. I can't go back there. I repeated. I stepped back. I felt vulnerable. My breathing started to feel sore. My eyes scattered across the room. For the first time in a long time, I was having a panic attack.

My thoughts shifted to my brothers. If I said no they would kill them before I even had a chance. I was stuck. My mind scrambled with a million thoughts. "So what do you say?" The guy says, making it worse. I couldn't pull myself together. "Don't you want your brothers free?" The man pushes.

I lift him off his feet. My anger taking over. "I wouldn't do that." The man stated. "They are tracking my heart beat currently. If I were to stop living that would mean your brothers would too." He explains. Now he had the higher ground. I jerk him back down.

Why did this have to happen? What if my brothers don't get a chance to help me this time? What if I'm still not strong enough to save myself? All my thoughts were making it worse. My nerves were completely shot. My hands shook nervously. "You have thirty seconds to decide." The man stated.

I only panicked more. I can't choose myself over my brothers. Even if I'm in torture for the rest of my existence. I pull myself together as best I could. "Ok, fine." I stated. My eyes closed shut. I was hoping this was just a nightmare. I open my eyes to the man smirking happily.

"Wise decision." He stated. He walked over to me. "Wise indeed." He stuck a needle in my arms before I knew what happened. I didn't even see him take it out. My nerves made me none attentive. My vision was slowly blurrying until I had completely lost consciousness.
