Eventually, I got bored of reading. The main characters were still doubting their love for each other. Steve offered for me to participate in training. I had nothing better else to do.

Everyone except Tony and Bruce were in the room. Clint and Natasha were fighting each other; I guess that makes Steve and myself pair. "How about we try working together so we know how to act in life and death situation?" I nodded along.

We tried a few things.  First, I tried levitating him through the room. I accidentally threw him into several walls. Clint and Natasha would hold back their laughs. I, however, could not. Steve came up with a different idea. I placed purple steps in the air.

There were small spaces in between. Steve did some parkour and jumped around the room while in the air. He landed back on the floor, and the spaces vanished. "Alright. Record time." He says while slightly panting. I give an appropriate smile.

I took my hoodie off and placed a t-shirt on myself. I was starting to get sweaty, too. I replaced my joggers with yoga pants. This was slightly more comfortable. "Are we not just going to talk about she changed in front of us?" Clint teases behind me. I grab my hoodie from the floor and throw it at him.

"How about we put that annoyance to good use?" Steve says. I turn around and look at him. I waited for him to explain. "Natasha and Clint are going to try and fight you. Meanwhile, you need to help me up to the ceiling."
"The mission is I need to take the light bulb out and put it back in."

At first, I thought it was dumb, but the more I thought about it, the more it sounds a bit challenging. "You up for it?" Steve asks. I look at Natasha and Clint. They can be pretty dangerous when they want to be, obliviously. I take a deep breath in and out. "Yep."

Clint and Natasha ran at me. I placed a forcefield over myself. I placed the steps in the air for Steve. My eyes absorbed with purple. The more Steve jumped on the steps, the harder it was to hold both. This was clearly on purpose. My forcefield started to flicker. Nat jumped through one of the places that fell.

I started to dodge her. I still wasn't good with hand to hand combat. I didn't have to be when I could kill someone from a mile away. However, I can't kill anyone in this situation. I'm vulnerable in this situation, and they were all aware. I made sure the forcefield was secure.

I would easily lose if Clint entered. This only made the paces for Steve to flicker. "Careful Y/n. I'm still screwing it back on." Steve yells. Natasha has already planted a few punches. If I use any more of my power, Steve will fall. I was sure. An idea hit me.

I moved my forcefield away from me. It engulfed Natasha and Clint. I was free from harm. Steve paced down the steps. He jumped to the floor. I relax every muscle. The forcefield and steps disappeared. I laid on my back, and my breathing was heavy. "That was good, Y/n. We still have a long way to go."

Steve says. Why did that feel like a backhanded compliment? "Man, I didn't even get to hit her." Clint says sadly. I would have used my powers on him, but it wasn't worth it. My whole body was sore. Natasha offered her hand. I take it, and she basically throws me on my feet. I had a small head rush.

"I think that's enough practice for today." Steve declares. Thank god!" I say. "Nice work, glowstick." Tony says. Apparently, he had been observing. I catch my breath. "Thanks."
"You should probably take a shower." Clint stated. He throws my hoodie in my face. Hawkeye was starting to get on my damn nerves.

I come back to the living room. My hair was still a little damp, and I was wearing some longer pajamas. I sit next to Bruce. Like an old man, Clint was watching the news again. "Well, the pictures got out quick." Tony stated. He was on the other side of the couch. Steve looked up at the screen.

The picture showed all of us at the cafe. The picture itself, however, was extremely blurry. They could barely make us out. I just smiled to myself. I saw Steve look at me from the corner of my eye. He was sitting in a chair next to the couch. He probably realized what was going on.

"If she was that bad of a photographer, I wouldn't have even waisted my time." Tony stated. I huffed a laugh under my breath. "Power's identity is still unknown." The reporter closes. The topic was changed on the news. Clint turned it off. "Well, that was useless." Clint says.

Natasha gets a notification from her phone. "We have a mission." She declares. We all give her our attention. "There's was a kidnapping. Um, there's not a lot of information. The kidnappers are armed heavily." She gives an address with the last known location. "Alright. Suit up, team."

We go to the last known location. Natasha was complimenting my wear. I took the compliment shyly.

[This is the suit I think Y/n would wear. Don't worry. If you're not a fan, you will eventually get an upgrade. This is not mine. Full credits to the owner who took the time for this masterpiece.]
