The hunter's eyes widened as he yelled,

«What the hell was that?»

I took a slow step forward, my boots echoing against the floor.
«I'll be the one asking the questions. Where's Esther?»

He glared at me, his lips pressing tightly together in defiance.

«You have ten seconds to talk, or I promise you, it won't end well for you.»

«You don't scare me.» He spat.
«I've got nothing left to lose.»

I smirked, stepping forward slowly.

«I've heard about your dead daughter, Allison

His body stiffened instantly, eyes narrowing in fury.

«One more word about my daughter, and I'll put a bullet straight through your skull.» he threatened.

I ignored his threats and continued:
«I know dark spells that could reach beyond the grave, twist her soul, trap her in a cycle of torment you can't even imagine.»

He gritted his teeth.

I placed my hands on the armrests of his chair and looked him dead in the eye.
«Are you scared now?»

«I can't wait to see your kind wiped out.»
He growled, but his voice trembled slightly.

I tilted my head, amusement flickering in my eyes. Your kind, he said.

«You're all monsters.»

I raised my eyebrows.
«I am Klaus Mikaelson's daughter, after all.» I shrugged and untied the ropes binding him.

«That name's supposed to mean something to me?» He asked with a tone of sarcasm.

I looked at him, genuinely surprised, and then I let out a laugh.
«Seriously? What kind of hunter are you?»

«A werewolf hunter.» he replied, rubbing his wrists.

«My father was part werewolf.» I stated flatly.

«Then again, I guess it makes sense you don't know him. My family's had centuries of practice disappearing when they needed to.»

«Consider yourself lucky he's dead. If he were alive, he'd tear you apart for even thinking about pulling a gun on me the other day. He wasn't nearly as merciful as I am.»

I ordered him to lead the way. We got in the car, and I drove, following his directions.

The road twisted and narrowed as we drove further into the woods.

The sky was dark, with only a little moonlight shining through the trees.

We reached a clearing where an old, broken-down house stood.
