"Wanna see around the house?" I ask, trying to keep things light as I lead Ace through the living room. I glance over my shoulder at him, a playful smile on my lips. "But just a heads up, this isn't even technically my house. It's my sister's."

"I don't care whose house it is; I just want to see where you grew up," he replies, his tone teasing yet genuine.

We head upstairs, and as we approach my room, I can't help but feel a flutter of excitement. Just as I reach for the doorknob, Ace suddenly spins me around and pushes me against the wall, catching me off guard. His lips are on mine before I can even process what's happening.

I melt into the kiss, my heart racing as his hand slips underneath the sweatshirt I'm wearing. He pulls back slightly, looking into my eyes with an intensity that makes my breath hitch. "I'm madly in love with you," he murmurs, his voice low and sincere.

"Tell me something I don't know," I tease, unable to hide the smile creeping onto my face.

He kisses me again, this time deeper, and I can feel the heat radiating between us. I pull away just long enough to take off my sweatshirt, tossing it aside. I close the door behind us and push him gently toward the headboard of my bed. The world outside fades away as I straddle him, feeling bold and carefree.

"Whoa," he breathes, a mix of surprise and amusement in his eyes. But then he gently cups my face, leaning in for another kiss. "But just so we're clear, I don't want to have sex with you all the time. I just want to be around you, to kiss you, to talk to you, and to be your boyfriend."

His words hit me like a warm wave, making my heart swell. I lean down to kiss him softly, wanting him to know just how much those words mean to me. "I really, really love you," I reply, my voice barely above a whisper.

His eyes never leave mine as he holds my waist, the sincerity in his gaze making me feel seen. "You have no idea how lucky I feel," he says, his tone earnest. "It's like I won the lottery."

"Oh, you're really lucky, considering you screwed up and still managed to get me," I counter, teasing him a little but also feeling the truth in my words.

"I don't take that for granted," he replies, and I can see how much he means it. "You're incredible, Adriana. Honestly, I don't deserve you."

"Shut up," I say playfully, my cheeks flushing at his compliment. "You deserve me. You really do."

Ace leans in, and our lips meet again, this kiss deeper and more passionate than the last. My heart races as I lose myself in the moment, feeling everything around us fade away. This—this is what I've always wanted. Just us, being ourselves, without any worries.

He pulls away slightly, resting his forehead against mine, and I can't help but smile. "I'm not going anywhere," he says softly, and I know he means it.

"Good," I reply, my heart swelling with warmth. "Because I'm not ready to let you go either."

As I sit there, gazing into Ace's eyes, I can see that he's about to say something important. He shifts slightly, pulling me closer, and my heart begins to race in anticipation.

"Adriana," he begins, his voice low and earnest, "I know we've only been officially dating for a day, but it feels like I've known you forever." He takes a deep breath, his expression softening. "When we were together before, I didn't realize how much I needed you in my life. I was so caught up in being this cool guy, trying to be what everyone wanted me to be. But the truth is, you're the only one I want. You make me want to be better, not just for me, but for us."

He pauses, searching my eyes, and I can feel the warmth radiating from him. "Every moment we've spent together—every kiss, every laugh, every time you rolled your eyes at my terrible jokes—it's all meant so much more to me than I can put into words. You've shown me a kind of love that I didn't know existed. You're not just my girlfriend; you're my best friend. You make my heart race in the best way possible, and I can't imagine my life without you."

His eyes glimmer with sincerity as he continues, "I don't care that we're just getting started again. I know we have a history, and maybe it's a little complicated, but what we have now feels right. You're the first thing I think about when I wake up and the last thing on my mind before I sleep. I want to be the one who supports you, who makes you laugh when you're having a rough day, and who's there for all your crazy adventures. I want to be your partner in everything.'"

I can't help but lean in closer. Ace takes my hands in his, his grip firm but gentle. "I promise to make you feel special every single day because you deserve that. I'm going to love you fiercely, even on days when it's hard. You've brought so much joy into my life, and I want to be the reason you smile."

Tears prick at the corners of my eyes as I take in his words. "You're such an idiot," I whisper, my heart swelling.

"Maybe," he grins, a playful sparkle in his eyes. "But I'm your idiot. And I'll keep being your idiot. So what do you say, Adriana? Will you let me be your boyfriend for as long as you'll have me?"

I can't help but smile, feeling an overwhelming rush of love for him. "Always," I reply, my voice shaky with emotion.

"Then it's settled," he says, sealing the moment with a sweet kiss. As our lips meet, I know that this is just the beginning of our forever.
