Since the last I spoke to Jack about us wanting to meeting up, I figured that Nisha and/or Timothy would wanna know. Especially after finding out that Nisha and Jack had broken up around 2 months ago ever since. It's difficult to determine whether or not it is the right thing to do to tell a recent ex of a guy, that they just asked you out, especially if it's a friend.
In my case, I didn't really see any harm, considering she broke up with him.
Jack never knew that I was speaking to Nisha or Tim and to be honest, I liked it better that way. Something was telling me that Jack wouldn't appreciate me hanging around his newly acquired ex, and his personal doppelganger. But if Jack's allowed to have secrets, why can't I? Speaking of which, Nisha had invited me to have some drinks with her out at Lynchwood.
I had dressed for a night, casually, wearing a pair of skinny jeans, a plain black t-shirt, some leather boots, and a brown leather jacket. I didn't want to wear what I usually wore, considering that I had become a somewhat recognisable appearance across Pandora, and wanted to stay away from unwanted attention while I was out having fun.
I was ready to hit the road after saying goodbye to those who asked where I was leaving. Usually it was either Axton or Geige who asked, and I would tell them I was going to meet up with a couple people at a bar. At least I wasn't lying, I was just skipping out on crucial details.
The drive out was a bit of a trip, but much faster when I fooled around by speeding up the car a bunch. The more I drove out to Lynchwood however, It was much easier to remember the way there and back. I had no problem passing guards at the town gates, Nisha had given me clearance to pretty much roam the town safely. I parked the car at the bottom of a hill, and walked my way to a sector away from the main town, to a small bar that Nisha had told me to meet her at. I walk into the bar, lit by wall lamps and candles. The whole place was moderately active, for a small town. It smelt of cigarettes and sweat, but had a rustic barn look to the place. I spot Nisha wearing her usual attire, sitting next to Tim on barstools at the counter across the many different kinds of liquor displayed on a wall.
"Hey guys." I say, sitting next to Nisha. "Tim, I didn't see your car. I didn't think you'd be here." Tim's wearing casual clothing as well; a dark brown leather jacket with a pair of blue denim jeans. His hair is lacking hair gel, and seems curly; not sporting his "Hyperion CEO egocentric asshole look". I suppose maybe the people of Lynchwood know that he must be a doppelgänger, since people in the bar with us don't seem to pay him any mind.
Tim looks over past Nisha, a drink in his hand. "Oh. Yeah I usually take a different car whenever I go out. Less likely for me to get tracked down and killed, you know? Not that I can't handle myself out there of course..." He replies, an amused smile across his face. I hum in response, requesting a drink from the bartender. "So Nisha, how have things been since ending it with Jack?" I ask in a considerate manner, quietly thanking the bar tender for the drink a moment later. "Oh you know, he was tryin' to get me back, keeps sayin' sorry for whatever hes done, that he still loves me and all that. He quit talking to me about that shit a week ago though. Least he's still sending supplies through and to Lynchwood. If he stopped sending shit to me, I may actually have to go up there and give him what for." She states, taking a shot of something before asking for another round.
