Oh my God.

This was so embarrassing. Lance was never going to let this go.

They were only supposed to find some medicinal herbs for Hunk, since he had gotten sick and now, Keith was stuck in the bottom of a random hole.

All because of Pidge.

"Lance, can you stop wasting our time, Hunk needs this," said a really annoyed Pidge. On any other occasion, Keith would have expressed how pissed off he too was at his teammate, he was just currently too distracted.

"But Pidge, look at this forest! Isn't it beautiful? We can't just walk without admiring it a bit."

Not as beautiful as her.

"Yes, we can and we will, right Keith?"

When did he give permission to all of those thoughts roam freely in his head?

"Keith?" She lightly turned around to look at him as she kept walking.

When did he decide to accept he loved her more than friends should?

"Uhm, Keith, is something on my face? Why are you staring..."

When did all he could think about was how he could confess to her?

"Keith! Look out!" "Dude, watch where you're go-"

Quiznack did that hurt. As he cupped his head, Keith observed his surroundings.

There wasn't much space, and it was dirty and dark, except for a light coming from above. When he looked up, the red paladin was greeted by the worried expression on Pidge's face and a stupid grin on Lance's.

Oh, he fell into a hole.

Because he was too busy staring at his crush to see where he was going. Now that he thinks about it, the distant voices he could hear was probably them trying to warn him and why Pidge did a weird zig-zag as she walked in front of him.

"Keith! Are you okay?!"

"Yeah, don't worry," he replied, clearly embarrassed.

When he heard Lance snicker, the black-haired guy suddenly had the urge to punch him, but judging from the "ouch" he let out, Pidge had already done it for him. "I don't have my bayard, think you can climb up?"

Knowing it probably wouldn't work, as the dirt didn't look hard enough, he tried anyway and- "Nop, it's too slippery" And he's pretty sure he had gotten a concussion when he fell, which made the entire thing more complicated.

From down there, Keith could kinda hear them talking to each other, but he wasn't able to make out the exact words. "Ok, I'll go take my bayard and Lance will stay here with you! I promise I'm gonna hurry!" And with that, Pidge was gone, leaving him with an amused Lance.

"Soooooooo..." Only one sound and the red paladin was already planning how to murder his teammate once he was out. Please God, make sure Pidge hurried up...

"Got distracted there, huh? Any particular reason?"

Keep calm, it wasn't because he had accepted his feelings for the girl that he wanted anyone else to know. "Not at all."

He wasn't even completely sure he was ready for her to know.

"You sure... 'Cuz from my perspective, it kinda looked like you fell since you were busy staring at a certain someone..." The teasing was evident in his voice.
