His gaze bore into mine, stern, unwavering, and filled with sheer intensity. “Main Aadhriti ki wajah se chup hoon, lekin iska matlab yeh bilkul nahi hai ki main tum par haath nahi utha sakta… Jeeja Ji.”

His grip loosened, and my hand fell limply. What… What title did he just use to address me? Jeeja Ji?
“What… what did you just say?” My voice faltered as I struggled to keep my composure amidst the shock.
“Jeeja Ji.” He repeated, his lips curving into the thinnest smirk, sarcasm dripping from his voice.

“Arey, ab kya Aadhar card la ke dikhau?”He gave me a look of disbelief.

“But if you’re Aadhriti’s brother… then who was he?” I asked, my hands trembling.

As if on cue, a man entered the parking lot, buttoning up his jacket. His gaze lifted, and a smile formed on his lips.
“Oh hi Jeeju.”He extended his hand for a handshake.

“Aa–Aadhriti’s cousin? Tell him… you’re Siddharth, right?” I asked, shaking his hand, my voice faltering.
“Nahi, I’m Siddhant. Sidharth bhaiya toh yeh rahe.” He pointed towards Sunny.
