Ch 218 - Mother's Approval

Jin was holding Rias' hand, gently stroking her hair as she slowly tried to go to sleep. This was a moment too pure to lose. So she stayed in the moment with Jin. Taking deep and gentle breaths. Her eyes closed as she held Jin's hand. Hoping nothing would change between them. Hoping everything would work out and she didn't lose one of the most precious things to her. The relationship she had with Jin.

But as Jin was taking care of Rias. Others were watching. Watching through the crook of Rias' door. Venelana was watching Jin take care of Rias. A smile on her face as she had found someone truly amazing. But someone else was with her. A man of middle-aged appearance. He was handsome with long crimson hair tied back with a black hair band in a loose ponytail. He had bright blue eyes just like Rias. A short, red beard with protrusions similar to fangs. Venelana's husband and Rias' father.

Zeoticus Gremory.

Zeoticus: {Golden blond hair, crimson red eyes darker than our hair. Tall and a build like no other.} So that's Jin.

Venelana: You know Jin?

Venelana asked, looking back at her husband in surprise. She would have thought if her husband knew Jin, she would have seen him before. But that didn't seem to be the case.

Zeoticus: I don't know him personally. This is my first time seeing him. I only know of what Sirzechs has told me. What Grayfia found out monitoring Rias and making sure she was safe.

Venelana: Of course, you two are still monitoring Rias. You know you enable his sis-con habits. I thought we agreed we'd only monitor her in her first year. To make sure she was safe in the human world.

Zeoticus: We did agree, but Sirzechs made some good points. It's better to monitor her and her not like it than to not do so and put her in danger. That's why Grayfia has also been keeping an extra careful eye on Jin.

Venelana almost looked confused by what Zeoticus said. Looking at Jin holding Rias' hand gently. Looking at his small smile and stroking Rias' hair gently. She didn't just let anyone touch her hair. So it proved they were very close, that she found comfort in his gentle touch. Venelana looked back at Zeoticus very confused.

Venelana: Jin? A danger? That adorable thing.

Zeoticus: Adorable?

Zeoticus said in equal confusion. Looking through the crook of the door, looking at a very strong muscular man. One that was very handsome and emanated a strong power. Not just in his appearance, but in his aura.

Venelana: Look at him, he might be a very handsome man, but he's absolutely adorable. He's very relaxed but he makes sure to hold himself straight, he's obviously hard-working given his build, but look at him. He likes the quiet moments more than anything. The way he took care of Rias, the love he feels for her, it's adorable.

Venelana smiled as she looked at Jin. Stroking Rias' head and hair. Doing so in a way to make sure he didn't damage her hair. Knowing how precious it was to her. Picturing fluffy ears on him, nine tails. He was handsome and adorable.

Zeoticus: I have no doubt he's hard-working. Sirzechs told me Jin owns his own reputable business in both the human and supernatural world. Something impressive at his age. However, there are things deeper to him than how he acts right now. From what Sirzechs told me, Jin is a deeply disturbed person. Grayfia didn't manage to find out much about his past. That's kept in the confines of the barrier around Urakyoto. But she did see a fight Jin was in and that was enough.

Venelana looked at Zeoticus and smiled. She looked at him knowing Zeoticus didn't know what was wrong with what he was saying. Looking at Jin as she smiled.
