Sirus looked at the papers he had in front of him. Looking at the answers he received from Jin, going over his own notes. From the pile of papers he had, he began spreading out some more papers and taking glances at the notes he took within other documents he had. Jin didn't know much about the Underworld, especially not the politics and legal aspects of it. So he just remained silent and told himself to answer honestly any questions Sirus might have had. To many, Jin was an open book. He wasn't one to keep secrets and everything he was saying right now was the absolute truth.
Not a single bit of exaggeration to his words or promises. But then a sound resounded in a silent room. The pen of Sirus being placed down on the dark wooden table. Paper was being laid down as Sirus looked at Jin's crimson eyes with his jewel blue eyes.
Sirus: Now let's discuss your future. However, I would like to stress, everything we mention to you now is up for discussion. We're not trying to limit your future, just plan for it and see if there's anything we can help with or change your mind about.
Sumi: If you're set on something, you can always tell us and we'll respect your decision.
Jin looked quite surprised. For a serious conversation, both Sumi and Sirus were being extremely polite and nice about this. It wasn't as tough as he thought it was going to be, even easier than talking business with Sirus. So he gave a small nod as Sumi and Sirus understood. Looking at the scattered papers on the table.
Sirus: Let's try and keep this in the order we questioned you in. Though we might deviate slightly. For starters, would you have any interest in working for us once you leave education? In a management position in a hotel or as a doctor in a medical facility the Sitri family owns.
Jin: I'm all for using Senjutsu to heal others, but I don't think being a doctor is a career path I want to pursue. As for having a job within the Sitri family enterprise, I'll respectfully decline.
Jin said as Sirus nodded, accepting the answer without effort to persuade. Such a thing wasn't important and as a few pieces of paper disappeared from the table in blue magic circles, Jin could understand. These were plans or opportunities in his life that Sirus and Sumi prepared for or had to offer. Jin was wondering what such a large pile was for when his life was left with two pieces of paper.
Sirus: Would you have any interest in working in the Technology Department of the Underworld or the Magic Research Department?
Jin stopped to think for a moment. But the Magic Research Department was something more suited for Aika and Jin was more like an old man. He had a smartphone, but he only knew the basics of it. He didn't care much for the rest of the features. Likely the effects of being raised by an old man. Jin was smart and could likely excel in technological research, but it wasn't something that interested him.
Jin: I'm good. However, if you want someone passionate about magic, I'd go to Aika.
Sumi: {A shame. I'm sure Ajaku would have loved to work with your talented mind.}
Sumi thought as more pieces of paper disappeared into blue magic circles. If you thought about it, the Sitri family was amazing. Every piece of paper in the pile, every piece of paper scattered on the table was a planned path in his life. Opportunities the Sitri family could help him reach. Plans they had thought of and prepared for.
Sirus: If you do proceed to go forth with further education, would you consider doing so within the Underworld?
Jin: I'd prefer doing so on Earth, but I would consider it. However, I don't believe I'm at a point where I can make a solid decision. I still haven't entered college yet. I'm only just beginning my third year at Kuoh Academy.
