Ch 237 - Going Back Home

After Jin and his house had survived Siriyus rage, with Siriyu slightly cooling off after seeing his sister straddle Jin and tease him about how she was "claiming" him. Jin helped them get back to the Underworld. He took them back to the destroyed forest so they could make their way home or continue training. However, Jin couldn't train with them. He had to run away as Suki gave him a small kiss on the cheek, eliciting a blood rage from Siriyu. They still hadn't had a proper fight yet, so Jin had no right to claim his sister.

Suki had something completely new to annoy his brother over and because of it, Jin was unlikely be see them for a while.

Going to let Siriyu cool off.

However, the end of the summer was near, closer than ever before and it was time for those who lived on Earth to leave the Underworld, going home. All to start getting ready for their return to school. With Jin, Akeno, Sona and Mittelt moving up to their Third year, Aika moving up to the Second year, Koneko joining the First Year and Kunou joining Middle School.

That was why they were all standing outside of the Sitri family residence, just in front of the large, open, double wooden doors. Jin was standing with Mittelt, Kunou, Koneko, Sona, Aika and Akeno with Sumi and Sirus in front of them. Rias was staying at home a while longer, spending time with her mother and father.

Sumi: We wish you the best of luck in your third year of school. But know you are always welcome to come here anytime. Think of our home as yours.

Jin: Thank you Sumi.

Sumi: Oh please, call me mother~. Mommy if you want.

Sumi chuckled as she glanced at Sonas' face, a face that went a bright red. Sumi was just teasing, but it was so cute to watch Sona get so flustered. Sona and Jin weren't even married yet, but her mother was already going so far because it wasn't a question of if they were getting married. Jin hadn't even proposed yet, but that wasn't an if. All of it came back to when it would happen, because all of it was definitely happening.

Sirus: As for the arrangements of your... what we can only call ascent to higher status, I'll send you paperwork to fill out.  Regarding the transfer of territory rights, Sona will act as an intermediary and consultant for any questions or recommendations there may be. Afterwards, we'll be ready to transfer territory control and responsibilities to you. It is then up to you to grow your clan and manage your territory.

Jin: I'll be busy. {As usual.}

Jin said with a small sigh as Sirus gave a small chuckle. All nobles could share in that feeling. Territory control, finances, businesses, managing accounts, events and social engagements, it all took up a lot of time and didn't leave much time for anything else. Jin would have to find a way to balance it all. However, Sirus was sure Jin could do it. He did not doubt that managing finances and accounting was easy for Jin.

But as Sirus was chucking, Koneko pulled on Jin's arm. Her face was completely red and she was breathing heavily in the grey hoodie she used to cover her head and body. She seemed extremely hot to the touch. Her hands shook as she held Jin.

Jin: {She must really want to go home.} I think it's about time we leave. I'll be in contact with you more often Sirus. I look forward to seeing you again Sumi.

Sumi: Mother of mommy.

Sona: Mother please stop!

Sona said completely red as Sumi again chuckled at the flustered face of her daughter. Sumi didn't remember being so shy when she was younger, which only made it so much cuter that Sona was so easily flustered.

Jin: I'll call you that in time, but there's someone else I need to say that too.

Sumi looked at Jin and gave a nod of understanding. But as Jin smiled, Koneko pulled on Jin's arm again. Seemingly very desperate to go back home. To her new home. So moving his hand from Kunous, he gave Koneko a small pat on the head. Causing her to shiver and squirm to Jin's surprise.
