Ch 220 - Childhood Friends Turned Fiancée

Jin had dropped off Kunou to learn and study with Yasaka. Coming back to Rias to be with her. She ate with Jin, drank some tea with him and together they read in bed. Though it seemed as if sleeping with her was too far for Venelana as Jin went back to the Sitri residence. But then he came back the very next day. Spending more time with her. Drinking a different type of tea, reading books together or reading them to each other. It was peace. A rare peace they didn't often get to enjoy. A sense of peace with each other. Worries and problems drifted away as they leaned their heads on each other's shoulders, listening to the sweet words of one another reading books.

But today was the day. It was the perfect day in the human world. The right weather, the right time. It was perfect. With Jin ready, saying his goodbyes to Rias.

Rias: Okay, remember what I said.

Jin: Be confident, be in the moment. Don't mess up. No pressure. This isn't the first time I've done this.

Rias: Definitely don't say anything like that!

Rias said as Jin gave a small chuckle. Looking at Rias who was wearing a black frilly dress. Looking down at her as she looked up at him. He leant down for a kiss, but a hand blocked him. Rias hand as she smirked.

Rias: Save that for Aika. You can kiss me later.

Jin: Can I propose to you later too?

Rias looked at Jin and blushed a crimson hue. Looking at him, she was flustered. But it made it even worse as Jin smiled. Causing Rias to push Jin out of her room. Slamming the door shut.

Rias: Just propose! You've kept her waiting long enough!

Rias shouted from inside her room. Obviously flustered about Jin's remark. Leaving Jin with a smile as he felt the box in his pocket. Another ring he worked hard on. All for Aika. Yet Rias was also on his mind.

Jin: {It's nice to know she's happier again.}

Jin thought, walking down the halls as he was happy to help her. Youjutsu symbols quickly appeared around him and in a blue flash of light, Jin disappeared.

Leaving to propose to the girl he first thought of doing this with. The girl he thought would take all of his firsts. A girl he had loved for years.

Aika.

Time skip

Jin had spoken to Aika briefly before he got her into a situation where he could take her to the surprise. Though to make it even more surprising, Jin had Akeno do something for him. Jin had Akeno leak the information about the previous proposal location. To say he was taking her there on a date. So Aika thought she knew where they were going, but in actuality, she had no clue where they were.

Aika: For being in the clouds, you would expect more wind.

Jin: You would think so.

Jin chuckled as Aika was convinced they were at the city of Agares. Jin was covering Aikas eyes so she couldn't see anything. He had been covering Aikas eyes even before they got out of the door of the Sitri residence. She was keeping her eyes closed as he told her to do, but he was covering them just in case. Moving her into position for his big reveal.

Jin: Okay, keep your eyes closed till I say.

Aika: Clear!

Aika said as Jin smiled. His hands moved from her face as she kept her eyes closed. She could hear Jin moving about her, but she didn't cheat as to sense with magic. This was a surprise and she didn't plan on ruining it. Keeping her sight completely dark until Jin was ready. She could hear him take a deep breath.
