Ch 225 - Strange Feelings

It was strange, but despite having the purse of a noble lady. A purse that could buy them small restaurants and all the food stalls they wanted. Now that Ravel and Jin were together, alone in the Phenex territory at night. They weren't as hungry as they were before. Lady Phenex said this was only going to be getting a bite to eat, but as they stood in the illuminated night of the Phenex territory, with other couples arm in arm. It was obvious what this was. What this really was.

Was a date.

Lady Phenex had sent them on a date and now Ravel was standing in the streets of the Phenex territory completely red. Her face blushed a flustered hue. Her brain is no longer functioning. She was tricked by her own mother. Her mother took advantage of the fact she was flustered around Jin and tricked her into making a rash decision.

Ravel: {WHAT DO I DO?! MOTHER, I'VE NEVER GONE ON A DATE BEFORE! I JUST PULLED JIN TO GET AWAY, BUT NOW IT'S JUST US! DID I COME ACROSS AS FORCEFUL?! DOES HE LIKE THAT TYPE?! WHAT DO YOU DO ON A DATE?! I JUST MET JIN A FEW DAYS AGO! IS THIS TOO FAST?!}

Ravel's mind was running on fumes. Jin watched her as small whispers of flames came from her. She was lost in thought and it seemed that she accidentally used her Demonic Powers. Jin watched as a small whisper of flame flickered on top of her head, finding it slightly funny. But the  Ravel realised one thing.

Ravel: {Oh... my... god. I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT DATING!!!}

Ravel said as she was nearly on fire just as Jin would have been. But her flames weren't warm, they were hot. Much hotter than her red face was. However, Jin had experience dating. So while dating someone new and he just met was not usual. He placed his hand on Ravels' head. Her yellow and orange flames dominated and cooled by his blue ones. Smiling as he looked down at her, Ravel looked up at him in a red face.

Jin: How about we grab something small, then just sit and eat somewhere quiet? We can get to know each other better like that, then decide how to handle our... situation.

Jin said as Ravel didn't seem like Mittelt who was brash and reserved when he first met her. She didn't seem like Akeno who was all too fond of getting together with Jin when she first met him. Ravel seemed to like Jin, you could call it love at first sight. The love of a noble fox transforming into a beautiful, strong, noble man. However, something about her was reserved. It's what was making her so flustered.

Jin said this "date" didn't have to be much. If anything, it would be better to talk about how they both felt. Ravel looked at Jin and couldn't see a single flaw in that logic. Smiling slightly as her red face faded to a normal blush. Moving Jin's hand off her head and instead holding to it, wrapping her arms around his.

Ravel: What do you want to eat?

Ravel asked as she had quickly regained her more controlled demeanour. She wasn't usually flustered. Jin was the only one to do that to her. That may have made him even more special though. He could make her feel things like never before.

Jin: Usually I would say anything that had meat in it, but I'm not feeling too peckish. So, something sweet? I have quite the sweet tooth.

Ravel looked at Jin and smiled widely. Almost becoming giddy at what Jin said, but trying to compose herself.

Ravel: Maybe a food stall then. I quite like sweets too. And cake.

Jin: It's decided. Let's satisfy our desires.

Jin said as Ravel blushed more red than she had done so the entire day. Jin was only talking, but it seemed even that caused Ravel to become flustered. Smiling as he gently patted Ravel on the head, with her face buried into his arm. Trying to hide the flustered face she had, but hiding her face in his arm made it even more. It was a cruel loop Jin couldn't help but love.
