Finally, all the students in Cobra Kai had their own gis. And there was a full dojo too.

“Junbi!” Johnny called out , “Bow.” All of the students bowed to him. “Fighting positions.”

Amara got into her fighting position. Johnny began to walk around. He kicked Eli’s from foot more forward, “Stabilize your base, Hawk. Keep your balance. Full rotation when you strike.”

“Yes, Sensei.” Eli said, as he copied Johnny’s punch. “Hai!”

Johnny walked over and looked at Amara. “Winchester, what have I told you about your hands?” Johnny asked her. “Keep your hands high.” He adjusted Amara’s hands and continued to make his way through the dojo.

He made it over to a short male blonde and took a step. He flinched. “Did you just flinch, Virgin?” He began to take a step to one of his other students as they flinched. “Holy shit. We got a room full of flinchers.”

“Yes, Sensei!” The students exclaimed.

“That was not a question!” Johnny yelled. “Raise your hand if you've never been punched in the face.”

All of the students raised their hands except for Miguel, Amara, and Aisha.

“Put your hands down.” He yelled. “All your lives, you've been avoiding fights so you don't break your nose or lose a tooth. This concussion nonsense. So, there's only one solution, and that is before you leave this dojo, each and everyone one of you is gonna take a punch, very hard, to the face.” Johnny ordered.

He looked over at Amara and Aisha. “Ms Robinson, Ms Winchester, line ‘em up. Unflinch this group.”

“Yes, Sensei.” The two females said as they stood in front of the class. Amara glanced at Miguel for reassurance.

He nodded. “Hit them like you would me.” He advised her.

Aisha and Amara had students line up in front of them to be a matter of punching. Apparently in Johnny’s eyes it was fair if the girls punched the boys. Amara had a couple of bleeders but it was okay. It really did help her get her anger out.

“Next.” She called. As Eli walked up to her and looked at her. “Eli, what are you doing?”

“I'm waiting to be punched in the face.”

“I'm not gonna punch you, you're my best friend.”

“Amara, it's okay.”

“Eli…”

“Just do it.” He told her.

Amara sighed and got into her fighting position. She clenched her knuckles together, tightly with her thumb around the outside. Amara extended her arm forward and punched the boy right in the mouth. Amara looked at Eli in shock as he fell onto the mat and groaned. “Holy shit!” Amara cursed. “Eli, I'm so sorry. Are you okay?”

“I'm ok.” He groaned as he slowly got up. “It's just a tooth.” Eli got into his feet.

“Eli, I'm so sorry. I-”

“Amara, it's fine, really.” He told her. “I'm ok. Just don't let me piss you off.”

Eli got up and began to walk off, holding his mouth. Amara felt so bad, but at the same time Eli told her to do it.

The next day at school Miguel was wanting to ask out Sam. He was so nervous. He was over by Amara’s locker, which just so happened to be Sam’s locker a couple feet away.
