Amara was with Miguel over at the dojo, getting their things ready to head out the door. "I let Sam decide our theme color. I think we're doing pink and pink." Miguel said to the girl. "What about you and Hawk?"

The blonde girl scoffed. "I don't even know. He has yet to ask me."

"Are you serious?" Miguel asked, "Prom is literally tonight and he hasn't asked you."

"No." Amara told him, grabbing her bag. "So, I have no idea what we're doing or if I'm even going."

"Amara, you should go." Miguel tried to convince. "It's our junior prom."

Amara sighed as she began to walk out the dojo, looking at Miguel, "Yeah, I still don't know." Amara looked over to see Kali, Sam, and Demetri, holding the letters 'P' 'R' 'O'

She glanced over to see Hawk holding flowers and a box of chocolates with a question mark sign, laying at his feet. Amara couldn't believe her eyes. "Are you asking me to prom or pro?"

"Right." Miguel said, running over in between Demetri and Hawk as the tall boy handed him his 'M'

Hawk looked at Amara nervously but took a deep breath and swallowed it down, "Amara Elisabeth Lawrence, will you be my date to prom?"

Amara looked at the boy and smiled. "Yes!" She exclaimed.

"She said yes!" Miguel cheered as everyone dropped the signs and Hawk made his way over to the girl as took the flowers and chocolates and reached in for a hug.

She then heard a big explosion and saw streamers coming from the cans and falling down onto the ground.

"Mine's not working." Demetri said, trying to pull down the stick.

"Here let me see it." Kali said, walking over to him and taking the streamer stick.

She pulled as hard as she could but it just didn't wanna budge. Kali decided to squeeze it as hard as she could and it busted right into her face, causing the lid to pop off, hitting her in the head.

"Goddamn it." She yelled, holding her head in pain.

Everyone laughed at the girl as Sam looked over to check on her. Amara laughed and turned over to Hawk. "Thank you." She said as she kissed him on the lips, passionately. She pulled back then smacked him. "How dare you wait on the last day"

"I told him not to." Sam said to Amara, "But unfortunately boys don't listen."

Kali smirked. "Which is why I go for girls."

Amara was getting ready for the dance and everyone was waiting on her. She wore a plain white dress and was in the middle of placing a headband in her hair.

"Amara, hurry up." Johnny yelled. "I don't wanna be late."

"Yeah, I'll be right there." She yelled back.

Miguel walked over and was standing at her door as it was already opened. "Hawk's gonna love it." Miguel told her. "You look great."

"Thanks." Amara smiled, "You don't look to bad yourself."

Miguel looked at Amara. He could definitely tell something was up. "What's wrong?" He asked,

"I really wished he wouldn't have waited at the last minute to say something cause this is not what most people wear to prom." Amara told him, as she finished touching up her makeup. "And if I'm being honest, I have a bad feeling about tonight."

"Nothing is gonna happen. And even if it does, we'll fight back." Miguel reassured her. He watched as Amara put her heels on and grabbed her small little change purse. "You ready?"
