After Daniel had left the dojo he had all of his students do burpees until someone talked. No one was going to open their mouth though.
Amara felt bad because everyone had to suffer through a punishment and shouldn't be punished. It was Amara and Hawk who trashed Miyagi-Do.
“This can all be over in an instant.” Johnny yelled as she was walking around the room. “The decision’s yours! Who trashed the Miyagi dojo? Y'all know I'm not a fan of LaRusso’s, but that sort of bullshit we don't teach in here. At least not anymore.”
Amara was so out of breath. She had counted a total of 86 burpees.
“So, I'm gonna ask you again. Who trashed Miyagi-Do?”
“It was not me, Sensei.” Chubs spoke. “I would never disrespect another man’s dojo-”
“Shut your cakehole, Chubs.” Johnny said to him. “I'm not looking for excuses. I'm looking for answers!”
“Sensei, we really don't know who did it.” Miguel said, out of breath.
“Somebody knows something.” Kreese said, as he looked over at Hawk and Amara. “Question is…who's gonna break?”
The phone in the office began to ring. “Keep going. We can do this all day.” Johnny yelled as he turned into the office.
“Eighty-eight.” Amara counted aloud.
“How the hell are you at eighty-one?” Miguel asked her as he pushed himself down into a plank then back up. “Sixty-Two.” He counted.
“How the hell are you at Sixty-Two?”
Mitch stopped doing burpees and walked over to Kreese. “Sensei, we need a water break.” He said to him,
Kreese looked at the students in the room for a moment. “Two minute break!” He called.
Amara was in the middle of a push up. She sighed in relief as she flopped her body onto the mat.
“Get your bearings.” Kreese said as Miguel helped Amara up on her feet.
The three walked over to the side to grab their waters. “Shit.” Amara cursed out of breath. “Of course the one day I don't bring a drink we're freaking working our asses off.”
Hawk looked at the blonde girl. “Here.” He said, handing her his water bottle. Amara looked at Hawk as she kindly took the water from him.
“I gotta talk to Sensei Kreese anyway.”
“Wait,” Amara said. She paused. If she asks why; Miguel might catch onto the situation and figure out what the two did. And that would be the last thing that needed to happen.
“Uh… are you sure?” She asked, holding up Hawk’s water bottle but looking at Kreese the whole time. Then back at Hawk.
“Yeah.” Hawk said, trying to play it cool. He knew what Amara was trying to say. “Why wouldn't it be ok?”
Amara sighed as he made his way over to Kreese. She really hoped something good would happen out of this situation.
Amara took a sip out of Hawk’s water bottle then set it down on the bench.
“So what's the deal with you two?” Miguel asked the blonde.
Amara chuckled. “Um…”
Hawk walked over to Amara and Miguel. “What’s going on?” He asked.
“I asked Amara what was going on between you two.” Miguel said.
Hawk looked at Amara as he put his arm around her. “Well, Amara and I are together.”
