The medic had gotten Miguel off of the mat and taken to their medical room to examine him. Amara was so worried that something bad could've happened to him. Something with his back after he had fallen down over the stairs.

"He's gonna be ok." Hawk told her as he kept his arm wrapped around her. "Miguel always pulls through and you know that."

"Our next semi final match will be Demetri Alexopoulos of Miyagi-Do against Robby Keene of Cobra Kai!" Daryl announced

Amara sighed. "I'm gonna go check on Miguel. Let me know if Demi wins."

"Yeah, I will." Hawk said as Amara began to walk off towards the medical room. She knocked on the door and was let in by her dad. "How's Miguel?" She asked.

"Medic said it was a pulled muscle."

"Ok, that's- that's good." Amara said, "So you can still fight, right?" She asked Miguel.

Miguel looked at the girl standing behind Johnny. "If it hurts too much, no." He said.

Amara nodded. "Well, Demetri is going up against Robby right now. Then it's Tory against Powers. Which means..."

"You're going against Sam." Miguel interrupted.

"Yeah."

Johnny sighed as he turned his head to Amara and guided her away from Miguel, privately. "Listen, I have to be here with Miguel during his recovery. So I won't exactly be there when you fight LaRusso." Johnny told her, "But hey, you know what to do. You know all of the Miyagi-Do encounters."

"Is that the medic's orders? You have to stay with Miguel this whole time?"

"Well, uh, no, but-"

Amara nodded as she licked her teeth . "I get it." She spoke, interrupting Johnny as she began to look back at Miguel. "His injury is more important than your own daughter fighting in the semis. That's ok. At least I know Jeremy was here to support me."

Amara turned around and began to walk out of the medics room. "Amara, no. I didn't mean that!" She heard Johnny yell but she didn't care.

It was always Miguel. It didn't matter if he was his own kid or not. Johnny was always there for Miguel but never his own kids. It stung Amara in the chest, like the fear of being held at gunpoint. No matter what you do, you lose.

"Amara, you made it just in time." Devon said, as the blonde began to walk over to her. "Your fight is about to start. How's Miguel? Is he ok?"

"Yeah, it was just a pulled muscle." Amara answered.

The fight between Tory and Powers continued. Tory had grabbed the girl by the arm and rotated her leg, kicking her in the face, scoring her final point.

"This semifinal match is all Cobra Kai. Tory Nichols is on her way to the big dance."

"Winner!" The ref yelled, holding up her arm.

"And now for our last girl's division semifinal, we have Amara Lawrence of Eagle Fang Karate, versus Samantha LaRusso of Miyagi-Do." Daryl announced.

"Where's Sensei?" Bert asked.

Amara looked at everyone else in Eagle Fang as she took a deep breath. "He's not coming." She said as looked up at Jeremy and took a step on the mat and made her way to her mark across from Sam.

"Good luck." Sam said, kindly.

Amara nodded. "Yeah, you too."

"Ladies, face me. Bow." The ref said to the two girls. They followed his orders as they began to face each other on his orders. "Face each other. Bow."
