Amara woke up to Johnny’s alarm clock going off. Here I go again by Whitesnake. Amara swore she had that song embedded in her brain from him.
She decided to get up because it wasn't like she could go back to sleep after hearing it. The song played on repeat four times.
Amara went into the kitchen to make breakfast, scrambled eggs and toast. Johnny finally decided to get out of bed and come into the kitchen.
“Hey, Sensei.” Amara greeted. “I, uh, I made you breakfast. I wasn't sure how you liked your eggs so I just did good old fashioned scrambled.”
“Yeah, I don't really want any.” Johnny spoke as he walked out of the apartment.
“Oh, ok.”
Amara sighed. Why did she get the feeling that she wasn't welcome at Johnny’s?

Miguel and Tory were at the dojo, stretching before the lesson. They were trying to figure out what date would be great for them to go on a date.
“Ok, what about Friday?” Miguel asked.
“Can't.” Tory told him. “I’m working at the roller rink.”
“Great. Let's turn it into a date night.”
Tory chuckled. “Candlelit dinner at the snack bar on my break?”
“Look, there's nothing more romantic than free hot dogs and chicken nugs.”
“Free?” The girl asked, “Not for you. You gotta pay up.”
Miguel sighed. “I'll splurge.”
“All right, but you gotta wear a costume. It's ‘80s night.”
“‘80s- Are you kidding?” Miguel asked. “I love the ‘80s. Dibs on Anthony Michael Hall in Weird Science.”
“I don't think you have to call dibs on that.” Tory chuckled. “You should invite Hawk and Amara. Turn it into a double date.”
“Yeah.” Miguel said, “I'll ask.”
Amara walked into the dojo with Hawk. The two took off their shoes and paid their respects to the mat.
Amara looked over and saw Miguel talking to Tory. She turned her head to Hawk. “I'm gonna go talk to Aisha.” She told him.
“Ok.” He said as Miguel got up and made his way over to him.
“Hey.” Miguel greeted Hawk.
“What's up?”
“About Coyote Creek, we cool?” Miguel asked him.
“We were enemies for a day, but Cobra Kai for life.” The two boys did their handshake. “Hey, listen,” Hawk said, looking over at Amara then back at Miguel, “Amara is pretty torn up about y'all's fight at the creek.”
Miguel sighed. “Why?” He asked. “It's not like I'm mad at her. It was a competition. She won fair and square.”
“She said she fought dirty against you and felt bad.” Hawk told him. “Just maybe talk to her.”
Hawk walked over to Amara as she was with Aisha.
“It's just weird now.” Amara spoke. She was telling Aisha about her and Miguel. The situation that is going on between them.
“I think you need to be the one who talks to him about that.” Aisha advised her. “And you should do the same with Tory.”
“Yeah.” Amara said, looking over at Miguel who was already looking at her. “I guess I can talk to them after class.”
