Johnny was at the new Eagle Fang dojo going over the new competitions and guidelines the All Valley Under-18 Karate Tournament had with his students.

"This is the worst thing that could've happened  to us." He said, "Skills competition, bullshit. Kata isn't karate. It's dancing. What's this crap about a girls' division? Thought they were all women's lib. They ought to man up and take a punch like the rest of us."

"Sensei, it sounds like we could use some female students." Miguel said.

"Fine." Johnny sighed. "Do any of you know any girls? Of course you don't know any girls."

"Uh, how about Amara?" Miguel told him, "She's the obvious pick for us."

"Yeah, where is she anyway?"

Johnny looked down at the ground and then back to his students, "She uh, she said she quits karate."

"What? Why?" Miguel asked.

Johnny shook his head. "I don't know. So Amara is a no go."

"There's this girl from the debate team." Bert spoke up.

"Debate team?" Johnny questioned. "We need killers, not more nerds. All right, go run some laps. Maybe it'll jog your memories." The students began to take off jogging in a line except for Miguel. "Try not to breathe too much. There's black mold in the corner."

Miguel walked up to Johnny and sighed. "So why isn't Amara doing karate anymore? Did something happen with Cobra Kai?"

"Look, she didn't say. Either she just wants to keep it to herself or she just doesn't want to tell me." Johnny explained, "Maybe you can get her to talk and join us. You're always able to see right through her."

"And what if she-"

"We'll find a girl champ," Johnny said, interrupting Miguel, "don't worry. All right, now get running."

Miguel bowed to Johnny and began to jog his laps. Johnny sighed and looked down at the floor. "I hope we find a girl champ."

Amara heard someone knock on the apartment door. The girl sighed and walked over to the door. She looked through the peephole to see nobody there.

"What the hell?" She said as she opened the door and looked around the corner. No one. Amara looked down to see a black Cobra Kai box. "You've got to be kidding me."

Amara picked up the box and walked over to the counter and opened it. Inside was a bunch of Cobra Kai merch. A hoodie, sweat pants, and activewear.

She pulled all the stuff out and found a letter.

Miss Lawrence,

My offer is still available and it will expire soon. I expect an answer tomorrow and if you accept, you will be a champion and tell you who really killed your mother. But if you don't, it will affect you. You will not be a champion, especially in the girls' division in the All Valley. And your adopted father, Jeremy will pay the price. Besides, other than Mr Keene you are the only person who can help us with the kata competition.

Amara stared at the letter in shock, nervous, scared...angry. Amara took the box and the clothes and walked outside over to the dumpster. She threw everything in there. She pulled out a match and lit it on fire.

Amara didn't hesitate before throwing the match into the dumpster, causing everything to light on fire. She turned around to see another box sitting on the top of her car.
