Kimberly Jane
"Kimberly!"
"Kimmmm!"
"Babyyyy!"
"Hello?! Where are youuuuu???"
His deep and panicking voice following his heavy footsteps echoed around my house. I couldn't help but chuckle to myself when I heard him cuss.
"Yeah, give me a second, Tony." I said to the lawyer that I was speaking with and muted my end.
"Kitchen, darling!" I yelled just enough that he could hear me.
I hear his rapid footsteps as though he was running. A second later he was already standing in the arched stone doorway of my tuscan kitchen, wearing nothing but his black boxers. Hindi ko naman maiwasang mamula na parang mapa na naman ang katawan niya dahil sa mga marka na naiwan ko mula sa dibdib niya hanggang sa abs niya.
My eyes then squinted on his chest, he has a lipstick mark on his chest—right above his heart. I didn't pay much attention to it because I was wearing a red lipstick last night and it was all over his body, but this one seems different. More vivid and looked....permanent. As he was stepping closer, I reached for it and tried to rub it away with my finger but it wouldn't—-it was almost like a tattoo. It was where I kissed him when I visited him in his dorm that night.
With my eyes wide, I looked up at him. His green eyes are bright and there is that smirk playing in his lips.
I looked down at his abs and my eyes found his adonis belt. There is the same tattoo of my lipstick mark.
What the fúck?
My heart began thudding and I almost forgot that I was in a business call. I cleared my throat and tried to fix my attention on what was in front of me. The poor strawberries and spilled chocolate are still on the counter top but I couldn't care less, I had to limp my way down here to the kitchen because my attorney work phone started ringing and when I saw who it was, I couldn't turn away the call since it was the opposing counsel of one of the big cases I'm currently working on.
I stepped away and limped my way down the stairs and here to the kitchen wearing nothing but his baby blue dress shirt. My blonde hair in a messy bun.
He groaned and I looked up back at him. He was pointing at his lips habang magkasalubong ang kanyang mga kilay. I jokingly rolled my eyes at him and tiptoed to give him his kiss.
"Sorry, darling," I whispered to him. He groaned and grabbed my åss like a caveman before his hands found my waist. His lips planted a possessive kiss on the side of my neck.
I smiled and reached for his hair while my other hand was pressing the phone against my other ear,
"Why did you leave the bed?" Nakanguso niyang bulong sa kabila kong tenga.
"Client-related call."
He hummed and gave me a nod of approval while he held me. His body felt hard and warm against my back.
"As I was saying, we don't have to take this to court." Tony said from the other line. "We can argue in the Judge's chambers, keep this, you know, lowkey."
"I agree but you are forcing my hand on this one by ripping my client off." I replied.
"Tss, come on, Kim. Your client shot someone—"
"Allegedly until proven guilty, come on, Tony, you should know better." Sarkastiko kong putol sa kanya.
"But this phone call is between you and me." Nagkatinginan naman kami sandali ni Elijah. I placed my finger on his lips, non-verbally telling him to keep quiet.
