"Yeees! Attorney Wencezlaoooo!"

"Hep!" I said and they stopped, even the boys who were attempting to carry me like a cheerleader. "No carrying. High fives will do."

"Yessss!" They all gave me high fives while I felt Elijah's eyes behind me. When I looked back, he had his arms crossed over his broad chest and his green eyes were fixed on me, he still had that proud smile on his lips—-it felt as though that was the only thing that mattered to me; him proud of me and him being here with me.

Nothing else.

Not even my own father's approval.

"Nobody touches you, Attorney. Alpha Kappa boys got your back, isn't that right, boys?" Jason said cheerfully. All of the boys have sunglasses on top of their heads alongside with the suit they were wearing.

"Yes, siiir!"

I just shook my head at them and smiled.

"Now go back to class and stop distracting my lawyers."

When the metal doors of the elevator opened, the boys let me go first habang tumabi naman sa akin si Elijah dito sa bandang likuran. I cleared my throat and tried to step sideways so I could move away from him, but his big hand caught my waist and pulled me closer to him. The boys were chatting among themselves and they were all facing front. So nobody could really see that their President's hand was on my waist.

He just cocked his thick left eyebrow and a smirk was playing on those red, plump lips that I badly want to kiss right now.

Underneath the coat was a white dress shirt and a black tie. He looked so handsome with his black messy-looking hair, those long lashes over his green eyes, his high cheekbones and that cleft chin he has.

He would wear this same suit when he graduates and when he starts training to become an Ambassador—-I can't. I don't want to think about it.

I looked away and he let my waist go only to reach for my hand. Tumingala ulit ako sa kanya, he intertwined our fingers, my hand still stiff and holding his. I wanted to hold him just like this, more and more. I want to walk in public without worrying if anybody could see us. I wanted to kiss him, I wanted to hold onto his arm while we strolled in the mall like what lovers would do.

I wanted to call him the B-word with nine letters, but I knew that I would just be fooling myself.

I took a deep breath and finally gave in, I held his hand back and a big grin spread on his lips.

The boys started getting into their own cars as Elijah talked to them.

"Yeah, you guys go ahead and I'll make sure Attorney's getting in her car safely." I heard him telling them.

I rolled my eyes and as I was opening my car door, I felt him behind me and his  hand rested on top of the car door.

"Get away from me." Inirapan ko siya.

He nibbled his lower lip and his hand smacked my åss.

"E-Elijah.."

"Nobody's here anymore and we're in an underground parking lot." He replied.
