Elijah
"Baby, quickie tayo?" I whispered in her ear as I wrapped my arms around her waists. My hand gently caresses the tiny bump in her soft belly—-our little bean.
She laughed and playfully hit my tattooed forearm.
"Mr. Pierceton, gabi-gabi na tayong naga-ano...jusko, maawa ka naman sa ano ko.."
I grinned before I pressed a tender kiss on her temple.
"I can't get enough of you, baby." I pressed another kiss on the side of her neck. "Even when we're hundred, I know my junior would still get up for you."
She giggled, the sound hit straight to my heart.
"Siraulo ka talaga."
I caught her here at the food table, getting some more chicken skin—-it was her craving lately. She just doesn't want any chicken skin, she wants specifically, Jollibee's. So I called the nearest branch, I paid three times their price, so I could order just the skin.
She turned towards me with a mischievous smile while holding the plate between us. Her blue eyes gleaming with happiness—-makes my heart warm like no other. Her creamy skin glowing, her smile is so gorgeous, and her blonde hair down on her shoulders like a waterfall.
"Darling, I'm gaining weight." She pouted.
"And?" I smacked her àss. "Nothing wrong with that." I said firmly as I mold her soft flesh in my hand. "You will always be the sexiest and the most beautiful in the whole, wide world. I am just the lucky bastard who gets to love you forever."
Her eyes watered.
"I love you, darling."
I smiled and pressed a kiss on her forehead.
"I love you too, baby."
"Hoy, hoy, makahawak ka sa pamangkin ko ah." I heard Tito Rudy behind me and so, as much as I hated it, I had to let go of my baby. "Halika na sa lamesa't, magsisimula na naman ang inuman."
"Tito, huwag mo naman masyadong lasingin si Elijah.." My baby said to Tito Rudy.
"I'll be okay, baby. I drank with the frat boys before and the alcohol they serve is radioactive."
Natawa naman siya.
"Okay, just not too much."
"Yes, wifey." I leaned in to kiss her forehead again and helped her to her chair, before I turned towards Tito Rudy.
"Tito, so Johnnie Walker po ba ang iinumin natin?" Tanong ko sa kanya habang naglalakad kami papunta sa lamesa ng mga uncles ng baby ko. Even Nacho is drinking with them.
"Anong Johnnie Walker-Johnnie Walker? Mag-gi-gin bulag tayo, tutal iyon naman ang basketball team na nag-hire sa'yo, 'di ba?"
I chuckled as I nodded my head.
"Gin bulag it is and yes po, that's the basketball team who hired me."
It was true, a couple of PBA scouts were actually watching my games including Baranggay Ginebra San Miguel—-they were the one I chose because the practicing grounds are near our house and they have the biggest offer among other teams. I also had NBA in my emails but I refused their offers because that would mean going away from my baby.
Kimberly and our little bean would always come first.
"Galingan mo ha, pumusta kami sa team niyo ng tig-isang daang libo."
I laughed before I nodded.

"Kabilin-bilinan ng lola, na huwag uminom ng serbesa!"
Hindi ko naman maiwasang matawa nang marinig ko ang bulol-bulol na tagalog ni Elijah. All my uncles were laughing with him as he sang in the Karaoke machine. He is already tipsy, I could tell from how he had already taken off his shirt and how his face is turning pink.
"Be, nakakabulag talaga ang singsing mo." Madison said as we both sat here in the corner having her wine while I had my grape juice. All our other lawschool and attorney friends had left for the day already. It was already five in the evening, I had already greeted most of the Piercetons goodbye, even the Ayers. The Wencezlaos, however, are still drinking going strong.
Natawa naman ako kay Madison.
Of course, some members of the legal community have a lot to say about my engagement. The BAR panel had nothing to say regarding it, but other lawyers do. They are saying that I am having a huge midlife crisis because I am engaged to a nineteen year old.
They are putting it that way because they do not know us, especially Elijah, and the good thing is that that's all they would ever be; gossip and opinions. We have nothing to prove to them. As what Madison say, "They're just jealous than their pússy's drier than the Sahara desert"
"Jesus." Madison said as she looked at my fiancé. "I still can't get over the fact that he is 6'7. That is not a midlife crisis ,that is a lifetime oasis."
Natawa naman ako.
"Russian yung akin pero nahirapan na ako, I was like in a wheelchair for like a week." She said that made me giggle. "Kano sa'yo be, at 6'7? Paano mo nakaya, be?"
"Oh, I limp after everytime we do it. I could never get use to it, but it feels really good." I winked at her, she threw her head back and laughed.
"And hindi ko na kailangang lumuhod minsan."
Nakipag-apir siya sa akin habang sabay kaming tumawa.

It was around eight p.m and here I am in the kitchen putting the small portions of the leftovers in the foil wrappers. My father and the rest of my uncles, even though they were drunk, are helping clean up the food table. The women of the Ayers and Wencezlaos are still sitting outside, gossiping or swimming. The karaoke machine is still going.
"Lasing ka na.." I said to him, his shirt is hanging on my shoulder. His arms gripping my waists while his broad and pink chest is in my view. He smells like beer and sweat mixed with a natural manly scent that my nostrils found pleasant.
"Am I really?" His red, plump lips formed in a smile. His green eyes hooded as he gazed at me. "...No arms can ever hold you more than I do.." He sang along with the song that is currently playing in the Karaoke machine. "You came to me from heaven, girl, it's true—"
A loud bang sound broke out and I tasted metallic liquid in my mouth as blood seeped through Elijah lips.
"Baby.." He clutched on his chest as more blood seeped out through it. My eyes widened in horror!
"Elijah!" He dropped on my floor and I saw Brandy holding a glock, a faint smoke coming out of it, while Travis is holding Randon Hernandez with a gun to his head.
"Attorney, sorry po, papatayin daw po nila ang anak ko kapag hindi ko sila pinapasok—-"
Bang!
"Talks too much." Brandy said after he shot him in the head.
