"Your father doesn't know that I'm not actually dating Daniel Pierceton." My mother said as both our Louboutin heels clicked on the concrete ground. The tall trees sorrounding the pathway shaded us from the bright, sunny morning. Her and my father's security detail surrounded us discreetly, kaunti na lamang ang mga estudyante sa paligid dahil itinaon ko na pumunta dito sa campus ng class times nila, para hangga't maari ay hindi nila ako makita.

This was a huge campus after all and avoiding my student completely are nearly impossible, as we walk, I could feel their gazes on me, I would even see most of them looking my way. It wasn't because they were pulling out their phones and recording me—-I was expecting them too after my relationship with their fellow student blew up on the media—--they were looking my way because I am with a woman who looked like me, even dressed the same now with pantsuits.

I told most of my students that I never met my mother, which was true, but I knew that I have a lot of explaining to do to them. I could see it in their curious faces but despite that, they said nothing and only gave me a nod of respect and a smile.

"I was holding his hand as a friend, I was afraid of what your reaction might be to seeing me, or of me seeing you. I have been thinking of opportunities on how to make it up to you or how to even begin to introduce myself to you." She said,  "And then I saw the news and then the articles. That same afternoon, I flew all the way to Washington D.C to Rhode Island, and went to the Pierceton's Estate..."

"He was frantic and wasn't happy at all because that man is all about politics and image. His life and possibly whole lineage revolved around it. Let's face it, Earl Daniel Pierceton is an American politician. He was ready to storm here and just cause trouble because it is not enough that your father's a Philippine Supreme Court Judge and former prosecutor or that her son was involved with a Filipina-American lawyer who also happened to be his professor. He wanted Elijah to become an American Ambassador, which means in his head, he could never marry you or even be involved with you, but his tone changes whenI told him that you happen to be my daughter, too."

"He can never turn your United States Supreme Court Judge mom." She widened her blue eyes at me for a moment. The royal navy blue suit highlighted her sapphire-like blue orbs. "So best believe that he wouldn't do anything stupid to jeopardize his newfound political ties with us."

I smiled.

"So both my parents are powerful and influential people, does that mean you will help me get out of a murder trial?" I joked as we started to approach the lines of the frat and sorority housing area of the campus.

My mom chuckled.

"Oh, sweetie, you will never see the inside of a courtroom as a defendant, because your father and I will make sure that your case never sees the light of the day." She winked at me and that made me laugh.

A few more steps and then we stopped in front of the Alpha Kappa Phi frat house. We were on our way to Dean Robinson's office. I figured that before I get fired, I might as well give my mom a brief tour of the campus. The two storey beach house styled home has a perfectly groomed green bermuda grass in its front lawn. The house was painted with burgundy and gold while the greek letters of the frat's name was written on the wall. It wasn't obnoxious nor out of place, it looked elegant as though the house doesn't host parties that could guarantee the whole faculty members a headache for a year.

"So this is the AKP house...." I gestured to the home. "I am still disgusted about what father said.." I shuddered and then I stopped to stare at my mom. Shît.

"What was it, sweetie?" She asked curiously.

"N-Nothing, mom." I cleared my throat.

She held onto my forearm gently and tilted her head at me.

"Sweetheart, what did your father say?"

Oh, my gosh.

"It's n-not a big deal, mom."

"Sweetie, if it's not a big deal then what is the issue of me knowing it?" She argued softly.

Why am I forgetting that my own mother is a lawyer AND a judge? My baby will have to come up with good excuses in the future if they want to fool around.

"Okay, it is a big deal." I admitted. I took a deep breath and caressed my stomach.

"So when father was around nineteen years old and when he came back here....him, Uncle Seb, Ninong Senator Luke, and Former Dean Garrison....choo choo a woman named Lillian Torres in frat house..." I grimaced in disgust.

My mom's brows furrowed deeper.

"Choo choo? Like Jolina Magdangal's chuvachuchu?"

"Mom...so there is this term, that uhm," I cleared my throat again and scratched the back of my neck.  I can't believe I am explaining this to my own mother.  "If one or more men are like having fun with one woman at the same time it is called running a train...so choo-choo, it was the same term he used when he told me..."

Her blue eyes widened and she scoffed in disbelief.

"He told you that he choo—-Freaking Holt Maxwell Wencezlao." She said through gritted teeth. "Lillian Torres as in the current Madame Vice President of the Philippines?" Hindi makapaniwalang tanong ng Nanay ko.

Napalunok ako bago ako napatango.

"That bastard. May nalalaman pa siyang, I love you-I love you and oh, it was you all this time and yada, yada and then he—- Ugh, I'm never giving in again." She sighed.

"Oh, mom, he was boasting about it too when he told me." I added fuel to the fire.

"He was, huh?"

"Yes. He talked about it like a prized possession. It was disgusting."

My father's Cadillac then rolled in, he got out of the driver's seat while my man hopped off the passenger's seat. They were both out and about this morning. My clueless father was smiling as he approached us.

"Hey, sweetie." He leaned in to kiss my hair. "And hey to you, my sexy—-"

"---Don't talk to me." My mom slapped my father and pulled me with her. Nagkatinginan kami ni Elijah.

"I'll spill the tea later." I mouthed to my darling and he nodded.

"Even before, you were such a player! You never changed! Frat boys will always be fúck boys, even though they are sixty years old!"

"Ma'am—"

"Except you, my dear Elijah."  My mom smiled at my man. "Pero magsama kayo ng father-in-law mo!" Singhal ng Nanay ko bago kami nagsimulang maglakad palayo. When I looked over my shoulder, my father was standing in the same spot with a hand on the cheek where my mom rightfully slapped him. Elijah standing beside him with a grin.

"Lagot ka." I mouthed to my father.

His brow furrowed in confusion.

"Choo. Choo." I mouthed again.

My father's eyes widened in horror.
