(I'm lazy and don't feel like editing right now, so if there's any mistakes or confusion feel free to point them out!)Cinder POV
"We're all happy that you were not hurt majorly in the accident. How are you feeling now?" A kind reporter asked. I smiled and nodded at her.
"Thank you for your concern. I'm am doing much better thanks to my medical staff."
"The world is anxious to know what caused the guards to fire at you." A man with a tiny microphone in his ear pressured. He certainly didn't appear concerned or caring like the woman I just spoke to. He was just getting another good story to be payed big bucks for.
I mentally sighed, "Yes, well as per usual, there were some tensions in the room. The guards were doing their duty of protecting the Emperor and President, but it appears someone took advantage of the situation and took control of them."
"How were you able to avoid more injury?" The same man demanded.
Keep calm Cinder.
"My cybernetics are equipped to protect me in every way possible. When danger is detected I can calculate millions of solutions and choose the best one in a matter of milliseconds. I was going to be hit no matter what and two of my crew were in the line of fire. I manipulated them to force them to the side. Crescent was able to avoid the first bullet, Ze'ev took the second, and I took the third. Any other bullets were fired aimlessly and lost."
"How much damage was done to yourself?" A nicer looking gentleman spoke up.
"The bullet lodged itself under my right ribcage," Dr. Erland projected a scan of my body showing the damage, "It jarred some of my ribs and cracked one other. There was some muscle tissue torn when I twisted to fire my own gun back at the guards. The bullets let loose some shrapnel which managed to travel all the way down my body," I ran a finger over the hologram to demonstrate the direction.
"My reproductive system was very close to being damaged, but a misplaced layer of skin grafting stopped it. I ran my finger over a white patch in my mid-torso." I frowned at it after looking for the hundredth time that day.
"Is your reproductive system functional?" A lady asked loudly in the back.
"As far as I know, yes. It seems that doctors took special care during my operations. Of course we will not know for sure until I am ready to produce an heir." I say knowing how much trouble I just put myself in.
No Cinder. Stupid, stupid, stupid Cinder.
"Do you plan on producing an heir yourself?"
Some very colorful words went across my vision. Kai shifted in the corner of my vision looking very nervous. I could feel Thorne's smirk burning in the back of my head saying 'Look what you got yourself in now, princess.'.
I was going to show them.
"Yes, yes I want to try." I announced confidently. Kai's eyes widened in shock and I watched Thorne's smirk shift from me to the Emperor. Something was going on.
"Of course, I'm only seventeen years old and do not plan on an heir for some time unless there is a threat to my control of Luna's throne." I added quickly. I noticed the reporters looked sad at that information.
•Bunch of dirty minded gossips that just want to talk about my non-existent love life.
I privately commed the whole crew.
Thorne was quick to answer-
~Tell me about it. You're not even an adult for stars sakes. I don't think Kaito would mind, though. ;)
