"Oh come on! Really? It's just a conference!" Cinder groaned. She could feel the painful tug of every hair as it was put into a proper place.

"Yes, yes, we've been through this approximately thirty two thousand one hundred nineteen times in the past two months," Iko chipped in. She sat across from Cinder, while giving directions to Cress who was 'fixing Cinder up'...

Again.

"This is no time to remind me. Now hurry up you two! I cant be late for my first one. That'll be something for the agency to grab onto." Cinder cleared her throat and using her best announcers voice, exclaimed. "The almighty Princess Selene is late to her first conference due to unfortunate hair and attire."

Iko blinked. Cinder assumed that Cress, behind her, did the same. "No. That's not how it goes."

Scarlet chose that moment to, awkwardly, walk in. "I have to agree with Cinder. All this fancy makeup is really all unnecessary."

"How did you know that's what she was fussing over?" Cress inquired.

"Isnt she always?"

Giggles erupted from everyone except Cinder, who sat there staring at the wall while trying not to explode. The three girls went to a table and lifted a large cloth covered in intergalactic symbols of peace.

"If I have to wear that thing over my head, why does it matter what my hair and makeup looks like!? I dont want to wear that anyway! The Earthen leaders will thing I'm hiding my face and my powers like Levena!" Cinder finally exploded.

An evil grin crept over Iko's face. "Then that will lead them to asking questions. Then that will progress to other topics. And other topics mean you get to talk to Kai!!" The android's squeal rattled Cinder's metal 'brain parts', as Thorne chose to call them.

"I'm not going to have some personal little chat with him while, what, five other rulers sit there watching? No!" Cinder exclaimed.

Iko continued to giggle and squirm in her seat. Cinder watched the beautiful crown be placed on her head. Despite the fact that Cinder hated being princess, was tired of trying to dispose of Levena, take her place on the throne, wait through the strenuous cybernetic operations, and get Luna back in a somewhat stable condition, she loved the crown. It fit her perfectly. When Cinder's army took over the Castle and Lava tubes, a Lunar Operative found the crown locked away several hundreds of miles below the crust. Cinder.. No Selene was eternally grateful to whoever went to such measures to lock the intricate piece safely away.

"Selene. Luna to Selene. Lets go." Scarlet insisted. The whole crew were in the new thermaterge uniforms. Cinder was working on a new name for the royal cabinet, but for now Levena's terms would have to do.

Everyone filed into the conference room. The throne. The same throne Levena carelessly sat in and watched innocent shells be murdered. A familiar hand rested on Cinder's shoulder to calm her. She turned to the man with a warm smile that could not be seen through the veil. This man was an example of Selene's true powers; the beautiful side of Lunar control.

*BEEP*
"Request for video chat. Invitation to the Earthen Conference." A robotic woman's voice cheerily sang.

Cinder looked at Thorne; her literal partner in crime.

"Accept" Selene answered. There he was. The man Selene had dropped off on Earth over four months ago for his own safety. The man whose mere image that kept her going through all her trials. Emperor Kaito.

"Thank you Princess Selene for allowing your presence." President Vargas began.

Selene lowers herself into the throne and motions for the others to do the same. Thorne sits to her left, and Wolf stands guard to her right.

"I would like to thank you for allowing me here despite our, shall we say, unfortunate past.. Dealings." An expected tension and fear is shown outwardly on each leader's face. This should be interesting.
