Taehyung woke up that morning feeling warm and fuzzy, the marks of his late-night call with Jungkook still lingering in his mind. As he got out of bed, his hair sticking up in every direction, he walked down the stairs, not bothering to fix his appearance. He was still half-asleep, a sleepy pout on his lips as he made his way to the kitchen.

Seeing his mom, he immediately wrapped his arms around her from behind, nuzzling his face into her shoulder with a soft whine. “Morning, Mom,” he mumbled, his voice drowsy. “I had the weirdest dreams last night...”

Yoona chuckled, patting her son’s head with a fond smile. “Good morning, my little sleepyhead. You seem extra clingy today. What’s going on?”

Taehyung groaned softly, squeezing her tighter in his hug. “Mom, I can’t stop thinking about Jungkook,” he whined loudly, his voice carrying a childish tone that he only used when he was feeling extra comfortable and unguarded. “He’s always teasing me, and it’s driving me crazy! What do I do?”

Yoona’s eyes widened in surprise, but there was a mischievous twinkle in them as she tried to hide her smile. She gently turned in Taehyung’s embrace and patted his cheek. “Oh, sweetie, I’m sure you’ll figure it out. But, um, you might want to keep your voice down...”

Taehyung blinked at her, confused, before she continued with a soft chuckle, “Because Jungkook is right there.”

Taehyung froze, his sleepy brain taking a second to process her words. He whipped around, his eyes widening when he spotted Jungkook casually sitting at the kitchen table, coffee cup in hand and a huge grin on his face. He looked far too amused, his eyes crinkling at the corners as he watched Taehyung’s surprised reaction.

“Morning, Tae,” Jungkook greeted, his voice full of amusement. “So, you can’t stop thinking about me, huh?”

Taehyung’s face turned a deep shade of red, and he nearly tripped over his own feet as he stepped back from his mom. He tried to smooth down his bed hair with frantic hands, looking like a deer caught in headlights. “I-I didn’t know you were here!”

Jungkook just chuckled, taking another sip of his coffee. “Well, I was planning on letting you sleep in a bit longer, but you’ve made my morning even better than I expected. I didn’t know you thought about me so much, Taehyung.”

Taehyung buried his face in his hands, groaning loudly. “Oh my god, this is so embarrassing...”

Yoona, clearly enjoying the whole scene, reached out to ruffle her son’s hair. “It’s alright, Taehyungie. You were just being honest. And it’s good for Jungkook to know how much he means to you, right?”

Taehyung peeked out from behind his hands, shooting his mom a desperate look. “Mom, you’re not helping!” He turned back to Jungkook, trying to muster some of his usual cold demeanor, but it was impossible with the heat still burning in his cheeks. “You—you better forget you heard that!”

Jungkook’s grin only widened, and he leaned forward slightly, resting his chin on his hand as he watched Taehyung squirm. “I don’t know, Tae. I think I’m going to remember this for a long time. It’s not every day I hear you admitting how much you think about me.”

Taehyung let out another frustrated huff, feeling like he was losing control of the situation. But deep down, there was a part of him that couldn’t ignore the way Jungkook’s teasing made his heart race just a little faster.
