Jeongin POV

Chan was acting...fidgety.

It was weird, weirder than usual. He'd gone to eat with Min and Bin and made everyone leave the room, all sexy aggressive and making me think things were going to get fun. Then he'd perched on the side of the bed, sending me looks- filled with heat and nervousness. He kept picking at the throw pillow, plucking the poor thing nearly bald as he wrestled with whatever malfunction he was having this time.

"Channie?" I asked, reaching out to him, rolling onto my side so I could stretch out, letting my body drape in a way that insinuated what I wanted.

But he was being...well whatever the hell it was he was being.

"Hey, Baby." He smiled, eventually laying on his side facing me. His eyes were warm, and he smiled easily, our hands linking together between us- a moment of sweet calm.

"You're being weird." I said flatly, looking at him accusingly.

"No I'm not." He denied.

I rolled my eyes.

"What did Minho do to scare you this time?" I teased. "I promise I haven't had any secret private lessons with the kink-shine twins that you don't know about." I joked.

His face paled at that.

Bingo.

Okay...what did you three talk about that has you all shy?"

"Well we discussed... things pertaining to that....guy."

"Kwan." I said irritably. "His name is Kwan, not Voldemort and he holds no power over me if you say his name." I explained. "What about him?"

"Minho paid him a visit."

"And he's still alive?" I asked, making light of a situation that was anything but.

"You know Minho isn't stupid enough to go that far."

"It's not stupid. And yes he would, as long as he wouldn't get caught- same as you and Bin and Lix and probably Ji."

He didn't argue my logic, just laughed lightly. "And what about Hyune and Minnie?"

"Hyune is too pretty for violence." I scoffed. "Seungmin probably knows the whereabout of several sets of remains- he'll never talk." He exaggerated, making my eyes go wide. "Or maybe he eats their bones." I theorized, laughing. I wanted to distract him from the subject. Not that I was fearful of the man who had hurt me, but because I wanted to focus on the man there with me in that bed, the one who loved me.

"Mmm- like those fairy tales we read as kids- the ogre grinds their bones for bread or something?" he moved closer, our silly conversation making him forget whatever deep thoughts he was having at the moment.

"But I'm bread." I tossed out and Chan was tackling me, his hands on my ribs finding the one particular spot that made me fold immediately.

"My bread." He said through gritted teeth, kissing me on the neck under my jaw.

"Mmm." I agreed, my hands gripping his shoulders, pulling him closer- encouraging this playful touching. "Did you have a good meal?" I asked and he reeled back, looking at me curiously.

"Why?" He asked, looking at me knowingly.

"I was hoping you might want to have.. some me..." I said awkwardly.
