Jisung POV

"Hey, thanks for the ride home. I didn't want to wake Minho or Minnie to come get me from the studio."

"Naur- 'sall good." Chan shrugged. "Sucks Bin couldn't make it today- but I think we got some solid work done." He spoke, the excitement in his voice barely contained.

"Yeah- we haven't had a late night studio session for a while- I mean you are always holed up in your home one, but there's something about..."

"Our little studio- where we've made damn near every single song since debut?" he offered, nodding. "Yeah- I agree. There's something magical there." He allowed. A yawn escaped him and a thought crossed my mind.

"Channie- did...did you let Jeongin know you'd be working late?" I asked- knowing that was a struggle they had faced.

"Oh- yeah, I talked to him when you went for snacks around 10. I explained we were on a roll and I made sure it was cool we stayed until we were finished." He smiled, talking about his boyfriend. "Thanks for looking out for us, though man." He patted my shoulder gratefully. "How're things with Min?" he asked and then made to talk again, pausing, repeating the action "And Seungmin and Jackson?" He asked- clearly unsure if that was question that was allowed.

I chuckled as we turned onto the street leading to our apartments. "Minho is great. We're closer than ever. Minnie is...good. Really good." I felt myself blush. "Jackson is amazing, we just wish he could be around more."

"Didn't you guys visit him a few weeks ago?" he asked, recalling our brief visit to Hong Kong to see him. "When does he come back?"

"Nine days." I said, sighing. One night for his concert hadn't been enough.

"You guys keep count?" he asked- almost teasing.

"Wouldn't you if Jeongin lived in another country and you couldn't hug him, or hold him whenever you wanted to?" I replied, haughty.

"Oh. So it's like that with you two?" he asked, clearly shocked. "I guess I didn't realize Jackson was..." he trailed off. "I mean obviously Seungmin would keep track, but you and Min?" he asked, confused. "Is he... that important to you?" he questioned, turning toward me as we pulled into the garage.

I wasn't mad. Chan had no idea how to deal with loving more than one person, so I couldn't fault him for thinking that Jackson wasn't that important to me. "He is." I said quietly as he parked, the two of us sitting in his still car in his garage as he looked at me in surprise. "Minho is... well he's Minho. There's no comparison. But Minnie and Jackson- they are just as special. I can't rank them, if that's what you mean. Yes, we are two separate, functioning couples... but also, we're not." I shrugged, unbuckling and bending to grab my backpack. "It's amazing." I smiled.

"So... poly is just like, real... uh, regular relationships?" he asked and that got my attention.

"Well- not exactly, but it's all communication and love and understanding, so sort of." I explained- looking at him with concern. "Why are you asking me these questions, Chan?"

"No reason." He said shyly, scratching the back of his neck nervously.

I leveled a look at him- not believing a word he said.

He sighed heavily. "Jeongin has been talking about wanting to... er...find a third... not like a relationship- a um...aw, fuck this is embarrassing." He grumbled.

"Jeongin wants to be adventurous. You're not so sure." I offered.

"Yeah- but like he doesn't know who and he has a hard time trusting people and I just don't want a relationship... so I'm trying to figure it out.
