The CEO was busy making last minute changes to everything. "The cardboard cutouts are all in their places, the people will be coming soon, and the Playcare still needs a bit more work on a few things..." he mumbled to himself as he kept trying to get the camera system working again. "These security cameras will be helpful in the long run, and all the scientists and coworkers will be back" he kept mumbling under his breath hoping everything will work out in the end. The CEO seems to be nervous as he taps his foot on the ground under his desk, and his pen on his desk. "I'll need a new office..." he mumbles as he looks at the sizable dent in the wooden desk. His back ached at the memories that lingered with that dent. "These darn toys will be the death of me..." he mumbles out loud before getting up and looking over last minute plans. He needed to make sure everything was perfect for the hour, it was coming up quickly.

Dogday was starting to lose some of his hope as he listened to Kickin' cry along with Hoppy. The two were so upset at Catnap for betraying them for the Prototype. They couldn't do anything though, Catnap chose to work with the enemy, and they accepted it... too bad accepting it only led to tears... they couldn't really cry, Dogday just heard them and imagined them crying... they sounded so scared, broken, and hopeless. Dogday hated it. 'This wasn't supposed to be how it ends... I'm sorry to those I had hurt... I'm sorry Catnap... for being such a terrible friend... I'm sorry to the rest of The Smiling Critters... I'm sorry Bitty Kitty and Sharp Charm... I'm sorry Jax... I'm sorry Sunshine and Moonlight... I'm sorry Miss Delight... I'm sorry to the orphans in the Playcare... I'm sorry to Kissy Missy... Huggy Wuggy... Boxy Boo... Mommy Longlegs... the Lynx Twins... I've failed you all... especially you Poppy... I'm sorry... for failing as a leader.' Dogday thinks as he listens to his two friends cries. Dogday hangs his head low, his large ears blocking his view, but he didn't care. Why should he? He'd lost everyone... his best friend, his family, his... his children. Dogday's heart felt heavy in his chest, even though he had a new suit didn't mean he didn't have a heart still.... his just stopped beating a long time ago.

Catnap hated this. He hated the fact that he had basically lost everyone within the span of... he wasn't sure how long it's been since he never goes out... the only time he had was when he had to go after Hoppy and Kickin' the two he always helped out, and two who were always so competitive, yet they always made time to include Catnap in their games, and even spent time during breaks to catch up on small talk. Their screams would forever be ingrained in his head, and there was no escaping himself.
