Smiling Critters STILL continues on...

Chapter 670

Crafty felt like a terrible friend... she looked at the Playcare doors all boarded up and locked. She felt like crying knowing that Bubba was stuck in there, but she had to get him out, even if he was dead. With that thought fresh in her mind she shivers to think what she'd do when she actually gets him out of there. "I can't just... drag his corpse around... for all I know Catnap could be eating his corpse..." she then thought about Picky Piggy... "well if one friend would eat Dogday's corpse... I don't see why another wouldn't eat Bubba's..." she whimpers with the thought since she didn't want to know her friends really would and could eat each other if they were hungry enough. "I'd rather starve..." she whispers as she walks closer to the Playcare. "I may need to grab the trolley or crawl through the vents again..." she grabs the lock that kept the doors shut "this doesn't seem normal... why would someone have a lock this big, and who actually locked this place up?" Crafty was deep in thought so she didn't hear anything going on behind her even as the footsteps got closer and closer, finally a hand was placed on her shoulder and she whipped around to see... Bobby Bearhug. Craftycorn gasps "Bobby!" she immediately latches onto her girlfriend tightly before crying. "I missed you so much... I-I... I'm so sorry..." Crafty's voice went from loud to quiet quickly as soon as her tears fell. "It's okay... what all happened while I was gone?" Bobby cupped Crafty's face and the unicorn sniffles "B-Bubba is still inside the Playcare with Catnap, and I want to get him out even if he's dead or not..." Bobby's eyes widen "are the others in there too?" she was hopeful but when Crafty shook her head her smile dropped even more than before... it was odd seeing a smile fall so much. "Where are the others?" Bobby asks softly as Crafty just looks away, Crafty was crying softly while hugging herself "Crafty... where are the others?" she tries again but it should've been obvious from Crafty's reaction... she was able to piece together what happened "Kickin' and Picky... were taken by the Prototype..." Crafty said looking at the ground. "W-What... no... no no no they couldn't be!" Bobby looked close to tears herself but she knew she had to be strong for Crafty's sake. "Okay, so Bubba is in the Playcare... we can do this... we can find him easily... and get him out... is Catnap in there as well?" Bobby's voice cracked a few times but she still remained strong. "Yeah... I'm pretty sure he's still there... and I don't think we could use the trolley because that might get his attention on us, and that's the last thing we need..." Crafty sniffles again and tries to look at Bobby, Bobby gave her a soft smile and held her hand out "come on Crafty... we may not be able to save them all, but let's save those who we can" and with that Crafty smiles and takes Bobby's hand as they walk away from the Playcare and figure out another way in.
